   Four worktables are in this room, loaded with unfinished pieces of
jewelry and small tools that are used to make them. A counter lies to
the west, about three feet high and six feet wide. A large window is cut
out in the top, revealing that the counter is hollow and holds a beautiful
display of finished products. A stairway to the east leads down to the
ground floor.

   A huge l-shaped counter dominates this room, part of it against the

Some hooks dangle down from chains in the rear of the building, a few of
them holding whole sides of animals slaughtered for their meat. The air
is chilly in here, magically kept cold by some sort of magic. A small set
of stairs is against the north wall, beginning near the entrance and running
up to the second floor of this building, over the counter.

   A three foot high counter encircles this room against the wall here. The
only break in the counter is where the stairs come up through the floor in
the northwest corner, leading to the ground level. Its covered with
implements of cutting, carving and stripping. In this room young guild
trainees learn how to cut meat, preserve it, and cure it. A long chain with
a hook on the end dangles from each corner, to hold a large piece of meat
or a whole side.

An Inclined Pathway
   This pathway has been worn into the rock and earth, running down to the
center of town, and up to the western gates. A few buildings line the path,
but they don't become really dense until you get into the heart of the
stronghold. The view is majestic from this trail, overlooking the stronghold
and the rest of the valley. The great peaks of the Rigmorak mountain range
surround Kimordril, keeping it well hidden and safe.

large counter sticks out of the north wall, and almost reaches the south
wall. This shop does good business, being next door to The Mother Lode, as
it keeps up their supply of mugs and kegs. They also supply the Brewers
Guild above with the needed materials to hold their ale, mead and other
drinks.

   Copper piping is everywhere in this room, winding around everything and
connecting to alot of metal tubs, vats and heaters. A small furnace glows
in the center of it all, heating the liquid that runs through the pipes.
Bags of grains, and small pots of honey are stacked in a corner, ready
to get used to make ale, beer and mead. Many different sized kegs are lined
up near the stairway and ready to get hauled to The Mother Lode, or anyplace
or anyone who wants them.

rather quickly. The walls here are made of stone and have bas reliefs of
dwarves fighting dragons, goblins, orcs and other evil creatures.
