   This skyway, unlike their swinging rope supported cousins connecting the
home trees to the south, is wide and sturdy.  Thick wooden planks are
supported by steel aerial cables and giant aravne wood beams.  To the north it
connects with the largest walkway in the Commons District, the Grand Way.

Skyway through the Commons District Home Trees
   Not as sturdy as the main skyways, this one is fashioned of hundreds of
strong wooden planks roped together to form a bridge.  Swinging slightly, it
still is heavy enough that it renders the bridge immune to any slight breezes
which might arise in the evening time.  The view to the ground below is
dizzying, as even at the lowest level of Aravne, the forest floor
is still hundreds of feet below.
