   A large altar with an enormous obsidian statue of Loviatar stands here,
though immense it has been carefully crafted to move on elaborate hinges.
Loviatar, also known as the maiden of pain, appears as a tall beautiful woman.
She wields an immense barbed whip, and wears a tattered robe of black cloth
and little else.  The statues eyes are alight with rapture as though the
scenes before her please her greatly.

   Rows of wooden benchs provide places for the worshipers to watch the
rituals being conducted, and occasionally to conduct their own private
rituals.  Deep scratchs in the benchs give testiment to the fervor with which
some conduct the rituals with the comely priestesses common to the church.

   The Street of Guilds meets Commerce Street here in a round-about, in the
center is a large hole leading down.  Two iron ladders have been hung to allow
people passage down, and people below passage up.  Around the circle are two
of the most powerful guilds in town.  To the south is the Conjurer's guild, and
to the west the temple of the priests of Loviatar.

Along the Street of Guilds
   The cobblestones seem to draw your eyes, up and down the street.  There are
many guild houses here, as well as an inn.  To the north is the Sorcerers
guild, to the south Brogan's Inn.  The street is dry here, as it is carefully
angled to allow water to drain into small holes regularly spaced along the
the street.  To the east can be seen a busy intersection, the Street of Guilds
continues to the west.

Moregeeth.  The the west is the Street of Guilds which contains most of the
cities guild houses, as well as the inn.  A large hole lined with ladders

A room of nightmaric visions
   Terribile visions screach through the air attacking anything in sight. These
visions must be conjurered from someones worst nightmares as they are more hidious
than anything imaginable. A large staircase can been seen leading upwards into the
tower yet it seems to shift in both shape and size making it very hard to climb it
without taking a wrong step. One such step might prove devestating as the staircase
has over 200 steps.

Along the High Road
   The High Road runs the length of the town, its where most of the fine
businesses and shops are.  The street is paved in cobblestones and slopes
slightly to allow water to drain off through special holes near the sides of
the road.  To the west of the road is the Gilt-Edged Truffle the finest
restaurant in town, to the east is a sign that reads:

Smog's Fine Goods.

Along the High Road
   Here along the High Road are the shops and businesses used by the nobles
in town.  It isn't uncommon to see nobles out for walks or out shopping.  Few
if any commoners come into this part of town, mostly just servants running
errands for their masters.  To the east is a Roge's Armory, well know for there
fine armor.  To the west is Ghash's Weapon Emporium, being the only weapon
shop in town people must come here despite Ghash's unstable personality.

At the End of the High Road
   The High Road comes to a end here, appropriately enough it ends right in
front of the bank.  All of the cities and most of the nobles do their business
through the bank, mostly since its far too dangerous to walk the streets with
cash.  This is the part of town where most of the town's nobles reside, along
the Street of Nobles.  Probably to be closer to their money.

dangerous town its the only safe place to store valuables, if you can afford

it impenetrable.
