A Torch-Lined Rocky Incline
Every several feet in either direction on this incline leading to
Castle Ravenloft to the east burns a small torch atop a silverish pole
on either side of this rocky incline. The gentle, and softly-fuzzing
magical crackling of these torches enhances the mood produced by the
serene, yet breathtakingly beautiful view of Barovia below. From this
vantage point one can see the gentle kiss of the pillowish clouds on
the tips of the finger-like branch tips of the Svalich trees.
Blood, guts, tortured comrades, helpless bleeding, dying...
Ferocious nightmares eventually consume the thoughts of any mortal
with the brave desparity to conquer such a fretful, vengeful, terrible

the inner gateway would lead into the Castle Proper, this gateway leads to
the main corridor on the outside of the Castle. This corridor is covered
with gateways on either side leading to corners to the respected east and
west wings of the spired castle.

This large drawbridge spans from the portcullis to the inner gates of
castle Ravenloft. These gates open into the foyer of the Castle Proper
of Ravenloft. The drawbridge below is made of huge pillar-like stalks
of ancient Svalich wood. The bridge is based by huge bands of
steel with finely-crafted bolts of steel. Massive steel chains hold
the drawbridge to two massive diorite pillars on either side of the
drawbridge's base end.
