A Long Twisting Canyon
   A long shallow canyon twists and winds its way through the
vast cavern housing the illithid city of Ixarkon. Speckled
throughout the cavern lie many immense illithid mansions,
constructed by some of the upper echelon of the city.  This
portion of the caverns seems relatively devoid of traffic, except
for the occasional illithid traveling to the markets to the west
or on business to the Rockspire.  A few slaves can be seen
tending to the upkeep of the mansions, some attend to the gardens
of the mansion while others see to the buildings themself. The
canyon bends here, heading off to the west and to the south.  A
large metal gate bars entrance to a large circular mansion just
north of here.

A Long Twisting Canyon
   A long twisting canyon snakes its way through the eastern
portion of the caverns housing the thriving illithid settlement
of Ixarkon. Flanked by walls nearly a hundred feet high, the
canyon is relatively isolated from the rest of the city.
Impressive mansions constructed by many of the city's elite dot
the canyon; many are surrounded by impressive gardens, some by
deadly looking gates.  The canyon is relatively free of traffic
except for the slaves that can be seen tending to the estates,
and the occasional illithid making his way westward to the heart
of the city.  The canyon bends here, continuing to the north and
east.

A Long Twisting Canyon
   A long somewhat narrow canyon winds its way through the
eastern parts of the illithid city of Ixarkon.  The high walls of
the canyon shelter the numerous mansions that dot the cavern; the
number of estates seems to trickle down this far east, with none
visible east of here.  The massive mansions house the upper
echelon of the cities merchantry as well as some of the elders
who run the city in accordance with the Elder Brain.  Slaves
attend to the lavish mansion in the otherwise peaceful canyon;
there is none of the bustling activity of the markets or
herdlands near these bastions of wealth.  The canyon continues to
the west and east here, and one of the mansions lies open to the
south.

A Broad Twisting Canyon
   A long narrow cavern heading out of the caverns of Ixarkon
flattens out slightly and becomes much broader here.  The steep
high walls of canyon still shelter the canyon from the rest of
the immense cavern, hiding from sight the impressive illithid
city.  The canyon wall south of here has crumble away slightly,
revealing a small cave.  A few illithid look furtively around and
enter the cave; other than these travelers the canyon here is
relatively deserted as none of the fabulous mansions of the city
can be found this far east.  The canyon continues to the east and
west here.
Obvious exits: -East -South -West

A Small Dark Cave
   A small cave has been revealed by past geologic forces; the
canyon walls have crumbled and laid bare this small hollow in the
walls.  Cracks run like jagged lightning bolts all around the
walls of the confined cave, one peculiar set of bolts vaguely
resembles the shape of a small door.  An occasional illithid
furtively ducks its head into the small cave and seems to
disappear into its murky depths.  The only apparent exit is back
out to the canyon north of here.

A Dark Hidden Cave
   A small dark cave lies hidden from the majority of Ixarkon
behind a cleverly concealed hidden door.  The cave is neatly
decorated with a few icons of drow art which appeal to the caves
inhabitant, a slightly aging drow.  While many of the illithid
may pretend to not know of his existence, he is allowed freedom
from slavery for the important service he provides, namely
serving as a banker for the community's merchants.  Perhaps not
trusting one of their own, they turn to the only free thinking
non-illithid of the city to handle their monetary transactions.
A few tools of his trade such as weighing scales sit on top of
his small desk.  A cleverly concealed door leads north to a
somewhat larger cave.

A Narrow Rock-Strewn Canyon
   Walls nearly a hundred feet high loom imposingly over this
narrow twisting canyon.  The rocky strewn floor proves hard to
travel over as many sharp rocks seem to jut from every space of
ground not covered by some massive boulder.  The canyon seems
unearthly quiet as no sounds of animals or any other occupants
can be heard echoing off the stone walls.  The narrow canyon
leads north here, and to the south connects to a much broader
canyon.

A Narrow Rock-Strewn Canyon
   The high stone walls of this canyon seem to nearly scrape
together, as the canyon narrows incredibly to only about ten feet
in width. Traversing the canyon is extremely difficult due to the
rubble and debris that has accumulated within its narrow confines
over the years.  The canyon seens somewhat unusual as no sounds
of animals can be heard reverberating off its stone edges.  The
canyon twists here, heading to the east and south.

A Narrow Rock-Strewn Canyon
   The sheer rock walls of the canyon clash together, scraping to
a point scant inches across.  Chunks of rock and dirt have been
torn from the canyon walls; the rubble lies strewn about the
ground making traversal of the canyon exceedingly difficult.  The
particularly dusty air here makes surveyance of the canyon
somewhat difficult as the dust seems to sting and slightly
prickle any exposed flesh. The unearthly quiet seems even odder
in this section of the canyon, although there does not seem to be
any apparent reason for it.  The only way to continue is to
follow the canyon as it widens to the west.

   The ledge ends here as the great cavern curves around to the
west, heading off into the distance.  From this great height, no way
can be seen to descend to the cavern floor below without flight of
some form.  The ledge continues back to the south.

Rough Corridor
   This five foot wide passageway look as though they were mined out
in a hurry, with roughly chipped out walls and floor.  The corridor
heads to the east from the great cavern about twenty feet where it
comes upon a small cave.  The backside of what must be a secret
door is set into the western wall here, leading out onto the thin
ledge.
This area seems to be exceptionally narrow!

Rough Cave
   This twenty foot circular cave has a low ceiling, and looks as
though it was mined out in a hurry.  Hundreds of circular tracks
lead down into a small rounded shaft that burrows into the cave
floor here, and a thin corridor runs to the west.  The shaft is not
a natural feature of this cave, and appears to have been mined
out as well.

Rounded Shaft
   This vertical tube runs straight up and down about thirty feet,
and continues to descend.  Directly above the shaft opens into a
small cave.  A sticky black substance covers the rocky walls of
this shaft, looking like some kind of tar or glue.

   The thin shaft is about six feet in diameter here, heading upwards
about eighty more feet before ending in a small cave.  There is a larger
cavern directly below here that is totally dark.  The jagged walls
of this tube are covered with a sticky, odorless black substance.

Large Cavernous Lair
   This rounded cavern is about a hundred feet in diameter, with a
single hole leading upwards into the ceiling above.  Hundreds of
thick gray webs hang everywhere, covering all the walls and floor.
There is a faint odor on the air as well, that smells like rotten eggs.

   Many bones and bone fragments lie strewn about the floor of this small
side cave.  There is a large table used by the craftsman as he crafts bone
weapons for the people of Malch'hor Ganl.  There are many sharp chisels and
some coarse files used by the craftsman lying on one side of the table.  The
great goblin leader, Booga'Machon first brought up the idea about using the
bones from the livestock for something useful.  Before the bones were just
thrown out into the caverns outside of the Gagga'Jobo cave system.  The place
smells like burnt hair and stale meat.  One may travel to the main butcher
room by traveling north.
