wildlife upon the prairie.  Some, like the signs left by buffalo, are very easy
to spot, but there are others, like the field mouse or the prairie dog, which
are only discernable by the keenest of trackers.  Several animals can be seen
grazing upon the grasses in the distance.  The sky opens wide above the plain
making this place wide open to the elements.  One may travel in any direction.

   The plain is vast and stretches forever.  The peace and beauty of this
place is only broken by the occasional buffalo or other furry animal grazing
on the hearty grasses.  There is an entire eco-system evident here, the
constant perfection of the wonder of nature.  During the dry season these
grasses are often very crisp and dusty.  The sheer amount of open land seems
odd and frightening to any of those who originally came from villages or cities
with many buildings.  One may travel in any direction on the Field of Endolin.

   This grassy plain is the home to many different kinds of animals.  The
animals live in peace usually, but the predators that live here need to live
and eat as well.  Most of the creatures live off of the hearty grasses that
grow in great abundance here.  The plains are the ideal place in nature, too
big to ruin, yet one area of the plain is as peaceful as another.  The Field
of Endolin is a very large field of grasses that is often traveled across by
merchants or travelers.  Armies rarely travel here, preferring to stick close
to the mountain ranges, out of sight to their foes.  One may travel in any
direction on the plain.

Grassy Plain that is the Field of Endolin
   This grassy plain is covered with miles of prairie grass and clover.  The
field meets the horizon in every single direction.  Below your feet the grass
is lush and green with jusdt a hint of being dehydrated.  The grass here sways
slightly in the wind, looking very much like a wave over the plain.  There are
many small holes that animals have dug into the sod.  One may travel in any
direction they choose.

Upon the Lush Grasses of The Field of Endolin
   The Fields of Endolin have been this large and wide open plain that lies
before you for centuries.  The entire area was once covered with tons of ice
and rock as the large glaciers moved south.  The ground was not scarred like
some of the canyons in the western regions but actually was leveled totally
flat.  The green grasses grow very well in the infertile soil of the prairie.
The grass is about all that grows here save an occasional weed.  One may travel
to the north or east.

Upon the Field of Endolin
   The Field of Endolin is a very lush and healthy prairie.  The sod here has
grown solid with a tough looking grass.  The grass is a dark green and very
strong.  There are many trails leading off further onto the field.  There are
some buffalo chips lying on the ground.  It has been said by the older native
barbarians that the buffalo chips can be used as a fire starter.  There are
miles of prairie stretching out to the north.  One may travel in any direction.

The Edge of a Great Wide Plain
   A large and spacious field opens up before you here.  The field is long and
very wide.  There are many tufts of lush green grass that can be seen even at
a very great distance.  The sky opens very wide above the field as there are
no trees at all to break up the skyline. One can see many miles of open prairie
to the north.  One may travel to the north into the field or south out of the
entire bowl shaped area.

On the Vast Grassy Plain of Tentro
   This grassy plain seems to go on forever.  To the north the plain seems
to dip down into a depression, a bowl shaped area.  The region is normally
filled with wild animals, from buffalo to wild horses.  Most animals stay clear
of the city of Tentro for fear of being hunted.  Most people from Tentro do not
themselves hunt, but travelers and explorers often will leave the safety of the
city walls for the thrill of the hunt.  The city wall is still visible from
here, a large and impressive structure.  No trees grow on this vast prairie,
the sod is too thick to let any new plants come in.  There are some thin trails
leading to the north.  One may travel to the north or west from this point.

Near the Eastern Wall of Tentro
   This large grassy field is a wild and untamed place.  The laws of nature
apply here, where the strong survive and the weak get devoured.  What lies
beyond the protective walls of Tentro can be deemed as unsafe.  The prairie
grasses that grow here are untouched by both man and iron plow.  The wild
nature of this field prevents any farming from taking place, its just too
risky.  The field stretches off into the distance, a hill dominating the
horizon.  One may travel back into Tentro through the gate to the west.  One
may travel to the east or north on the plain.

On The Small Side Road Named Longbow Avenue
   Longbow Avenue is so named for the many guard positions on the eastern wall.
This side of the village is the most heavily defended because of all the many
wild creatures and civilizations located in the mountains.  The city wall is
tall and bleached white.  The street itself is paved with brown brick and lined
with many different types of small shrubs.  There are some very nice looking
buildings to the west, many of which have stood for several decades.  This
street is one of the furthest from the center of the village, but also one of
the most often visited by outsiders.  One may travel north or south.

In the Water Near a Swan Fountain In the Tentro Bath House
   The bath house is no less spectacular in this corner.  A large fountain
dominates the view, a grand work of artistry and design.  The water here
bubbles and churns, powered by underwater jets.  The bath deck is covered with
tiny white tiles set into mosaics, patterns on the floor.  There are many lamps
illuminating the fountain area, casting shadows to enhance the realism of the
swans that rest on the top of the fountain.  The water here is very inviting.

The Deep End of the Tentro Bath House
    The area of the bath house is actually in the warm water.  The water is
quite deep, about five feet and many people actually swim at this end.  There
are many small statues that line the pool on a small ledge ten feet above the
waters surface.  There is a walkway that forms the border between the pool and
the stone walls of the bath house.  The domed ceiling of the structure is many
feet above the surface and lets a great deal of light into the building.  There
are many people in the bath gossiping, swimming or just enjoying ths sights.
There is a stone ramp that can be used to get out of the water to the south.

Under the Surface of the Tentro Bath Water
   The water here is quite warm and totally surrounds all those who dip under
the waters surface.  The lights that burn in the bath house are distorted by
the rippling water.  The floor of the pool is a tiled ceramic pattern that was
created by a very skilled artist.  The walls of the pool are also tiled but
made of larger bricks.  There is a purple mortar that holds all the tiles and
bricks together.  One can see many of the bath house patrons legs as they take
a swim in the warm waters.  One can go west or swim to the surface from this
point.

The Deep End of the Tentro Bath House
    The area of the bath house is actually in the warm water.  The water is
quite deep, about five feet and many people actually swim at this end.  There
are many small statues that line the pool on a small ledge ten feet above the
waters surface.  There is a walkway that forms the border between the pool and
the stone walls of the bath house.  The domed ceiling of the structure is many
feet above the surface and lets a great deal of light into the building.  There
are many people in the bath gossiping, swimming or just enjoying ths sights.
There is a stone ramp that can be used to get out of the water to the south.
One may swim in the water to the west.

In the Water of the Tentro Bath House
   The warm waters of the bath house are filled with the many patrons of the
popular bathing area.  The water has been kept relatively clean and has been
routinely filtered with large nets to fish out any hair or other bodily wastes.
The stone walls of the building itself are covered with hundreds and thousands
of tiny carvings or mosaics.  The large dome ceiling above illuminates the
large structure perfectly except for, or course, cloudy days.  For days such
as those large torches are lit by the villages workers.  The water is very nice
to swim in but one could travel east or west from here.

In the Water Near a Swan Fountain In the Tentro Bath House
   The bath house is no less spectacular in this corner.  A large fountain
dominates the view, a grand work of artistry and design.  The water here
bubbles and churns, powered by underwater jets.  The bath deck is covered with
tiny white tiles set into mosaics, patterns on the floor.  There are many lamps
illuminating the fountain area, casting shadows to enhance the realism of the
swans that rest on the top of the fountain.  The water here is very inviting.

The Entrance to the Tentro Bath House
   The entrance of this large building is filled with exotic sights and smells.
There are many grandly crafted sculptures and furniture here making this area
of the bath house very pleasant to sit and rest in.  The tile on the floor is
very smooth and glassy to the touch.  There are many naked people walking
around.  They are either showing off their bodies or trying to get a new
customer for that oldest of trades.  The marble door way has been constructed
quite well making this place appear all the grander.  The warm baths can be
accessed here as well.  The warm water fills most of this large domed building.
There are some meticulously crafted candelabras on each side of the entry way
that give this building a touch of class.  One may go north or west into the
warm water or east back onto the street.

On the Paved Path of Longbow Avenue
   Longbow Avenue continues here running parallel to the village wall.  The
village wall has kept out raiding parties of the many viscious mountainous
tribes for many decades.  The street is well maintained and has been recently
swept by the villages maintenance crews.  The avenue runs here past the large
and elegant building that is the Tentro bath house.  Many painted ladies spend
the majority of their day here, looking for work or a mate.  Large torches
burn here, illuminating the front of the bathing facility.  Although it looks
expensive, the bath house is run by the village and is free to any and all who
wish to use it.  One may enter the bath house by going west or travel north and
south on the avenue.

The Intersection of All Saints Boulevard and Longbow Avenue
   Longbow Avenue and All Saints Boulevard meet here in front of the eastern
gate of Tentro.  The wall affords a great deal of safety from the wild animals
and creatures that roam on the grassy plain.  There is a guards station on
either side of the large gate, proof positive of the steadfast determination
to keep Tentro a free and safe haven for those in need.  There are no permanent
wooden buildings here, only stone, to prevent any fires from breaking out this
near to such an important gate.  One may travel in any direction from this
point or east out of the gate and into the plain.

Along All Saints Boulevard
   The grand boulevard continues here in front of the large merchants tent.
The tent is a large temporary structure made from thick rawhide and leather.
The tent is normally filled with merchants selling their goods from all over
the face of Duris.  The large tent flap is fastened open to allow customers in
at any time of the day.  Any grasses growing here have been trampled by the
steady flow of shoppers and browsers as the economy here in Tentro is very
well established.  One may enter the tent to the south or travel east or west
on this particular road.

The Beginning of All Saints Boulevard
   All Saints Boulevard was first called that because of the tendancy of the
holy priests from the cathedral was to come to this small side street and bear
witness to those who had not yet met their God.  The extensive preaching that
the priests did led many of the citizens of this village out of the darkness
they once felt and gave them hope.  The street has been very meticulously
cleaned by the younger members of the church as a display of respect for the
long passed-away priests.  There are many nice shade trees and benches that
make this place very nice to walk around in.  One may travel east or west.

A Four-Way Intersection on Green Plum Avenue
   Green Plum Avenue meets two other streets at this intersection:  The
southern walk of Tentro and All Saints Boulevard.  This large square formed by
the converging streets is a popular place for people to hang out in.  There
are many benches one may rest and converse on.  Large buildings loom in three
directions and the city wall rises to the southwest, the best protection one
can have from the savage forces located outside of Tentro.  Many strange smells
come from a nearby food vendor.  Many scholars claim that the original wall
that surrounded Tentro was located here, the part of the village to the south
was located outside of the protective wall.  That ancient wall has been long
gone and the nice intersection remains.  One may travel in any direction.

Green Plum Avenue
   This part of Green Plum Avenue is where the street gets its name.  There
is a small orchard of plum trees here.  They were planted when the original
settlement moved into Tentro.  The plums are considered public domain and all
that wish to eat them may whenever they want.  There are specific laws in the
city that prevent anyone from harvesting or selling the plums for profit.
There are a few wooden benches located near the trees for people to sit and
enjoy the fruit.  One may travel north or south from this point.

   Green Plum Avenue is well known for the fact that all the buildings on this
street are either painted green or constructed with rare green marble.  There
are many important buildings on this street.  One such building is located to
the west.  It is the mayors office where he deals with the many duties of the
position.  There are some small green bushes that have been trimmed to look
like animals.  One can see a rabbit, panther and a dragon shaped from the
bushes.  There are also some green petaled flowers growing in some wooden
planters.  One may travel north or south on the road or west into the mayors
office.

Intersection of Matafana Street and Green Plum Avenue
   Matanfa Street continues here.  There is a large square here as the street
intersects with Green Plum Avenue.  There are many people in this square
during mid-day, but at night the shadier people hang out here.  There are a few
stone benches, some of which are broken or badly scratched.  There are a few
weeds growing near the building to the north, somehow forgotten by the workers
of the city.  The street is paved in dark stone, all of which is mortared in
place.  One may travel west or east on Matafana Street or south on Green Plum
Avenue from this point.

Inside the Mayors Office
   The mayors office has been very grandly decorated.  There are several large
and plush couches on each wall with a receptionists desk in the middle of the
room in front of the southern door.  There are several small desks that are
located between the various couches.   The smells here are quite pleasant with
two different incense burners on each table.  There is a large book case filled
with different annals and journals on the western wall.  The large red carpet
has been carefully cleaned.  The mayors personal office is located to the south
and the street is located to the east.

The Mayors Meeting Room
   This large room is used by the mayor to hold conferences with both citizens
and important dignitaries.  The room is quite large with a domed ceiling.  The
dome has a glass center which allows this room to be illuminated by the light
of day.  There are also some oil lamps hanging at intervals that can be lit to
allow the mayor to continue his business into the night.  The mayor has a large
oak desk that has been polished to a high gloss shine.  There are three large
and soft looking chairs positioned in front of the desk.  There are many books
and rolled up parchments in a bookcase on the western wall.  The mayors office
is a very nice place to rest and chat with the mayor himself.  On the walls
there are several strange masks.  The exit to the room is located to the north.
