A Bend on the Great Llzazan Road
The road here bends form west to north as it travels between the farms
and the manufacturing district. There is a generous piling of excement and
fungus fragments on the road here, making for some rather unusual footing.
The stench here is also quite unusual and there is very little positive
that can be said about this road.

The Llzazan Road
The road here comes out of a hole in the cave floor to travel to the east.
The floor here is littered with rothe excrement and pieces of mushroom,
giving the floor a certain bouncy spongyness. Footprints disrupt the putrid
carpet of muck, especially along the northern wall of the cave. The road
continues towards the manufacturing distric to the east.

The road here trails off to the south after coming through a hole in the
ceiling. Many rotten pieces of mushroom timbers litter the road as well as
a fair helping of rothe manure. There is a small quantity of durithalite
in the tunnel illuminating the road for underworld eyes.

This abode is very hastily assmebled from the rubble that lines the
streets of the Llzazan Ghetto. The denizens of this dwelling are probably

Opposition. The room is a room of peace and quiet reading, where any Drow may
catch up on the news of the day without being hassled by the almost ever
present threat of death. The Llzazan Road continues to the North and South.

Southeast Corner of the Rothe Pasture
The fungus here is cropped very short to the ground uniformly, providing
the cavern floor with a soft spongy turf. It also very rich in the
concentration of the low fungus, feeding off the highly nutritious substrate
that is both fertilized by rothe excrement and svirfneblin flesh. Bones of
gnome and cow alike are scattered through the plush turf.

Rothe Pasture on the Lakeshore
The turf here is quite soggy as it gently slopes into the Great Llzazan
Lake. It is hard to put a clear distinction on where pasture ends and lake
begins. The rothe dont seem to mind however, as excrement litters both the
fungus turf and floats on top of the water. To the north and east the
pasture continues. To the south and west the lake deepens.

Northeast Corner of the Great Llzazan Lake
The lake here extends to the west and south, expanding towards a grove of
giant mushrooms, some of which seem to tower almost a hundred feet overhead.
The water here is very still, very clear and very cold. High overhead the
ceiling of this cavern glows dimly with a rich quantity of durithalite,
reflecting softly on the water in the darkness.

On the Lake Near the Rothe Fields
The Lake continues to the west, east, and south. To the north it is
replaced by a pasture of lush yellow fungus. The water here is very clear
and very cold. Small ripples are formed by the echoing of strange sounds
across the water. The auditory experience here is quite unreal, very
hollow and reminiscent of one of the finer effects of eating the mildly
toxic mushrooms of Vlan A'halor.

On the Great Llzazan Lake
The lake here is very clear, very smooth and very cold. Strange hollow
echoes reverberate across the water, causing tiny ripples in the water's
surface. To the north a festering beach loaded with rothe excrement travels
between the cavern wall and the lake. To the south there is a dense mushroom
grove.

The Great Llzazan Lake
The lake continues form west to east here, or east to west depending
on the particular point of view of the observer. To the north there is a
narrow swath of pasture before the Llzazan cavern terminates at a wall.
To the south, a huge stand of giant mushrooms towers overhead, reaching
nearly halfway to the cavern ceiling.

Northwest Shore of the Great Llzazan Lake
The lake is very still and calm here. It reflects the ceiling of the
cavern perfectly as the dim veins of durithalite glowing there trace out
a web on the water. The city gates of Arachdrathos lie a bit to the north
of the lakeshore and the lake continues to the south and east. Tall
mushrooms tower above the southern side of the lake.

Hell Road at the Shore of the Great Llzazan Lake
The road bends from north to west here. To the southeast side of the
road Llzazan Lake streteches off wavelessly through the great expanse of
this massive cavern. Across to the south side of the lake, giant mushrooms
tower fifty feet above the lake surface. To the northeast the road
stretches towards the city gates of Arachdrathos.

Hell Road in the Northwest Great LLzazan cavern.
To the southeast the Great LLzazan Lake stretches off into the haze
that permeates the space sky-like space betwten the mushroom floor and
softly glowing duithalite and basalt cavern roof. To the norteast, the
road winds its way along the lakeshore towards a vaulted tunnel which
leads to another cavern. To the west, the fungus fields stretch off
towards the near cavern wall.

Hell Road at the East End of Llzazan Lake
The road travels in a north-south fashion here, To the east Llzazan Lake
extends through a massive cavern. Rimmed by the mushroom farms, this lake
is the main water supply for irrigation of the substrate on which the
precious fungus of the drow is grown. The cavern ceiling is very high here
and thickly webbed with durithalite, enabling unltravision to be used
throughout this massive cave.

Hell road Between a Building and the Llzazan Lake
The road here continues in a north-south method of cavern navigation. To
the northeast, Llzazan lake tranquilly stretches across the floor of the
cavern, before bending to the south in the distance. To the northwest a
large swath of farmland extends away from the building lying directly to the
west of the road here. The southwest does not bear an appealing vista, as
the aforementioned building obstructs any scenic views in that direction.

Hell Road on the East Side of a Large Building
The road here stretches along the east side of a large building. To the
east of the road a massive cavern opens up. The cavern is probably 200 feet
tall at its apex and contains a nice sized lake rimmed by mushroom farms.
Hell Road, after passing by the east side of this building, passes by the
western end of this lake. Looking to the south, the cavern is almost as
impressive to behold but somewhat smaller. A gallows hangs to the southwest.

Bend in Hell Road
The road takes a sharp bend form east-west to north-south here. A person
traveling in from the north would probably argue the opposite perspective
however. The reason for this bend is quite obvious, especially to the
traveler coming from the east, as they would run into a large basalt and
durithalite wall if it was not for this bend northward. The wall, in
addition to being an obstacle to eastward travel is covered with gypsum
flowers, which dont look like flowers at all, unless viewed through eyes
that are attached to a body that has consumed far too much ale or smoked
too much pipeweed, or both.

East of the Gallows
The ground here is immaculately cared for as if its tenants were working
out of fear for their lives. Huge rows of fungus bulge mercilessly, waiting
to be harvested by Svirfneblin slaves for consumption by their Drow masters.
To the west, a blackened gallows tempts the gnome slaves to defy their
masters and pay the price.

The fields here are very well maintained as if the Svrifneblin slaves
possessed some extra motivation while working these fields. The source of
this motivation can be easily seen if one looks to the northwest, towards
a huge blackened gallows. To the south and east the fields end abruptly at
the cavern wall.

The farm here ends abruptly at the cavern wall to the south. The floor
of the cavern is coated with fungus and mycelium, intermixed with paths to
facilitate harvesting of the fungus crop. Wheel tracks cut along these
narrow paths demonstrating useage of carts to harvest the fungus crop. Hell
Road continues across the fields to the north.

Fungus Fields South of the Gallows.

A Blackened Gallows
The sight of this room is enough to make even the most seasoned stomach
churn. This is the site of liberation for the Svirfneblin, the only way out
of their slavery, at the hands of a drow executioner. The gallows itself is
charred and coated with creosote. The lack of a noose indicates that hanging
is not the method of execution reserved for the inobediant Svirfneblin.
Instead, by the body parts strewn upon the ground, a varity of mutilations
seem to be used ranging from simple disembowelment, to live complete
lobotomy. The ground here is covered with gnome remnants and fecal matter.

Hell Road along the building.
Hell road follows along the south side of an odd stone building with a
mushroom stalk roof. There are no window in the side of the building, which
is odd for a building of this size. To the south there is a large gallows,
which makes this general vicinity of the cave take on a most foul odor of
death mixed with mushroom fertilizer. The road continues to the east and west
towards the edges of this very large cave.

To the west of here hell road contines along the side of a large building.
The field here is filled with a strange red fungus with white spots and
bristles. The caps of these fungi are especially round and seem to be quite
fleshy. A single cap from one of these plants could probably comprise of
a meal for a small drow family.

South of the Great Llzazan Lake
To the north of this protion of the fungus farms, the Great Llzazan Lake
extends wavelessly across this great cavern. The fungus in this portion of
the farms is of a strange iridescent purple color and stands about waist
high on a Svirfneblin. It has a conical cap and a very short stalk making
the edible portion of this fungus quite large. To the east the fungus
fields end abruptly, giving way to large mushroom trees.

Entrance to the Llzazan Mushroom Groves
Thousands of mushrooms tower high overhead here, their stalks extending to
as much as 60 feet above the cavern floor. The caps of these mushrooms must
be at least twenty feet across and weigh hundreds of pounds. Smaller
mushrooms grow in colonies around the base of these great mushrooms, making
footing somewhat treacherous through the forest as they obscure the ground.
To the north, the Great Llzazan Lake extends across the great cavern here.
To the south, the cavern wall abruptly falls from a great height obscured
by the mushroom canopy.
