Rounding the edge of the pond and coming toward where the stream enters
the pond, there is the slight splashing sound of fish trying to swim upstream
as they jump out of the water as they make their way slowly upstream. These
waters appear to be teeming with fish and other aquatic wildlife that thrives
in the pure, blessed stream flowing through this part of the forest. The mist
seems to be a bit more pervasive,soaking everything around. The ground is a
bit more muddy and a few tracks of animals are more apparent.

A Fork in the Streams
The stream flows in from the northeastern part of the forest, forking both
toward the southwest and slightly toward the northwestern part of the forest.
The mist seems to be pretty thick in this area. Small pebbles line the bank
of the stream which appears to have a sandy bottom. The waters are clear and
almost translucent. The area around the stream is calm and peaceful. Nothing
else in the world seems to matter here as the peace fills the area. Splashes
from the salmon and other aquatic creatures seem to come from all around. The
path traveled upon is smooth and seems to have been well made at one time.

Forked of Path of the Stream
The stream flows in from the northwest in a steady and fast pace. At times
the sound of water crashing into rocks is louder here. A gentle wind brings in
a light mist that soaks the area. The rocks have a light mossy coating, making
it hard at times to get a good, firm footing while traveling along the edges of
the stream. The waterborne life does not seem to be as apparent here as it was
further down the stream. The waters are a bit darker then they were, yet they
are still pretty clear, and the bottom of the stream can be easily seen. Birds
and other woodland creatures around make noises and chirps as one travels along
the edge of the stream through the forest.

though a blanket of water was settling slowly to the ground. Despite theheavy
feel to the air, it feels very nice in the heat of the sun. All the cares of
the world wash away as the mist gently sprays your face. The path ahead seems
to lead the to waterfall then disappear behind the rush of water. The path is
worn and has eroded over time. It is starting to show its age here where most
of the stonework had been very intricate but has worn away.

Pool at the Bottom of the Waterfall
The water here is cool and calm in parts, though the water that rushes down
from on high sprays the area with a gentle mist. This area is so tranquil that
one could get lost here and never want to leave. There are many fish and other
creatures in the waters that were unseen at first, but they come out of hiding,
making the water seem to be teeming with life. The waters seem to wash all the
cares wearing down the traveler completely away, even as it washes away all the
dirt and any other debris that travelers pick up in their adventures. The water
is cool and soothing and feels great against the skin.

Up the Side of the Waterfall
The water flows fast down the side of the mountain. The mulitude of small
falls that run down the side of the hill are slowly cutting deep into the soft
earth. The sounds of water crashing are loud throughout the trek upward along
the falls. With the water rushing so swiftly down the hillside, anything that
would be in the way of the waters is promptly drug down to crash into the pool
below. Small salmon swim their way up the side of the waterfalls, and slowly
make their way to the top to head off toward the grounds where they were born.
Even though the water is rushing fast here they never give up on their effort.
Rough rocks and the small branches of trees that jut from the waterfall's main
apex provide ways to climb to the edge of the mesa base further up the side of
the hill.

Rounding the Crystal Clear Pond
Traveling further around the pond to the northern side, the waters of the
pond sparkle and shimmer in the light. The abundant wildlife nearby seems to
be teeming with many creatures, some of which one would never believe existed.
Many brightly colored furred animals swing from tree to tree, while others run
along side the waters as if there was no threat of attack. The wind here blows
slightly out of the north, bringing with it a cool, gentle mist that leaves an
invigorating feeling to all it touches.

A Small Crystal Clear Pond
Following the edge of the stream you come to a small pond with crystal
clear, almost reflective, water. There are a few statues near the water's
edge. As you get closer they are seen to be statues to the elven gods, one
of which depicts Solonor Thelandria, the elven god of the hunt. Solonor is
rumored to be the best shot with a bow in the multiverse. Though he may be
the elvish god of hunters, he is also the god of nature and is charged with
keeping the delicate balance between civilization and anarchy, instinct and
knowledge, savagery and domesticity. Thus, he is not just a mindless brute
like so many hunters. He stalks his prey mainly out of concern for overall
balance. The tallest statue that looms above the rest is the one depicting
Corellon Larethian the Protector, leader of the elvish pantheon who is said
to have given birth to the elvish race.

A Tranquil Forest
Sounds come from all around you as you enter deeper into the forest. Above
you there is a bit of rustling in the trees and around you the whole forest is
alive with sound, making it seem to be teeming with life. Off to your left is
a group of deer approaching a stream. About the same time you seem them they
look up and then dart off into the distance. To your right, you see a mother
robin with her young waiting in a nest on a low branch as she swoops down with
the worm she has found nearby to feed them. There is a path that leads to the
west and east. Though the part that leads up the side of the hill looks like
it is still paved somewhat the path still looks as though it are just wildlife
paths through the forest.

As you enter deeper into the tree's you notice that in places the overgrown

Most of the path is covered in ancient runes that seem almost elven. One might
wonder how long ago these symbols would have been laid and how long it has been
since someone has trodden down this faint path through the forest. It seems as
if at one time this path was a dominant, well-traveled one as you notice that a
few of the stones have been pressed in deep into the soil.

beyond. Ahead in a straight line down the broken path is an archway of trees.

Rolling Plains
Traveling through the plains you come to a small forested area filled with
trees that have grown tall as they grew ancient. As you draw nearer to this
forest, you start to hear the sounds of wild life that was not as predominate
through the plains. The path ahead of you starts to become more engrossed in
trees, and up ahead you notice the trees seem to thicken into a dense forest.
From here you can also see some rolling hills in the distance. There seems to
be a wildlife path that cuts through the woods in front of you. Though it is
over-grown from lack of heavy use, wildlife still uses enough to see. As you
continue your trek forward, you note that the path seems to have been a stone
walkway at one time that has broken down and crumbled with the sands of time.
