A Lighthouse
   At the southern end of the Jade harbour this slender tower has been
constructed for the safety of incoming and outgoing seabound vessels.
Like many of the buildings here in the east, it has been built with the
ever popular bamboo and thin, dyed wood sheets. An extremely lightweight
ladder leads upwards towards the light beacon, a large globe of illumina-
tion, maintained and recharged by the local mystics of Jade for the sole
purpose of guiding ships in and out of the port.

   The samurai warrior is unique to the far eastern lands. They are masters
of the blade and exceptional hand-to-hand fighters, but their most impressive
attribute would be their mental focus. Each samurai spends as much time in
deep meditation as they do in combat training, believing the mind to be the
most important weapon of all. The room upstairs reflects this, a quiet and
serene meditation room, while here, the lower floor is a dojo where the in-
tense training is done.

The Metalworks Guild
   This is the bottom floor of the metalworks guild. Quite a simple layout,
with the traditional paper-thin walls and bamboo interior. The floor is
covered with mats and pillows, as the easterners usually sit on the floor
instead of on chairs. The bottom floor of the guild house is where most
the important business is taken care of, while upstairs is a lounge, where
the guildmembers can relax and chat. Like most all of the labour guilds,
the members are all men.

The Metalworks Guild
   This is the lounge room for the members of the metalworks guild. After
official meetings are conducted downstairs, many of the guild members
come up here to drink and converse. The layout of the room and building
is nearly identical to the other guildhouses, though the walls in here
are covered with parchment posters, ranging from guild rosters, to basic
blacksmithing instructions, all wrote in the artistic eastern language.
