Before The Docks
Two thick iron gates stand open before the docks, creaking when
strong winds hit the small city. The salty scent of the air is heavy
here, seagulls swoop down hoping for a free meal. Shaiennar Road
leads east from here and the docks are west. To the north is a small
path leading towards the beach.

A Rocky Path
This path is well used, marking the travel of several villagers
and travellers to and from the beach and streets. A steep incline
leads downwards towards the beach, cluttered by loose rocks and gravel,
making the trip down slightly difficult. From here, the ocean is
visible, stretching out westwards towards the horizon, while a long
pier reaches across the waters not too far north. The path continues
both up and down.

Oddly enough, this part of the pier is often quite deserted. When
the waves are strong you can feel the wood shake beneath your feet
and the winds are much stronger out here. A light mist fills the air,
full of the salty water below, the cool breeze keeping the sun at bay.
The ocean stretches out in every direction from here, a beautiful view
at all times of the day. The pier continues eastwards where more
traffic can be found.

The noise and bustle of the city can already be heard from here, even
when the massive, iron gates are closed. Tall buildings and towers are
visible over the stone walls and the smell of freshly baked bread and
fresh fruits wafts through here. Far ahead the great palace of the King
are visible, its tall towers extending towards the sky. Despite the
greatness of this city, an unsual, uneasy feeling can be felt here, as if
something has been lost here. The massive gates lead into the main market
of Torrhan, while a smooth stone path leads away from the city.
