On the Slave Platform of Bloodstone
Slaves, taken from all parts of the world, are needed to mine
the red ore from the dangerous shafts below the Keep. Men, women,
and even small children can be seen being lead to and fro about the
the platform. Each of the sorry bastards is shackled by the neck
with thick iron chains, which fall down their back to also secure
their feet. SNAP cracks the sound of a nearby whip, and
a slave gasps from the stinging pain. All about the platform,
many shops can be seen selling various types of wares. There
is a large iron gate to the south and a sturdy steel gate
to the north.

Slave Holding Cage
Slaves that are too sick to be shown outright and sold to the
public are herded into holding cages such as this. They will
most likely end up in the factory or down in the lower levels
of the mines. The slaves here look lost as they aimlessly stare
off into their own world. The paper thin skin, beneath which pulsing
thick blood can be seen, shows signs of many old scars and beatings.
Each slave has been stripped completely down exposing their frail
frames to the cold elements of the Svalich region. Rats are here,
though they cannot be seen, the evidence is clear. Hundreds of
vermin droppings are scattered about and on those slaves which have
slipped into a coma, the nose and other extremities have been
gnawed on. Wailing cries can be heard all about this place, it
would be wise to leave at once. A large steel gate is off to the south.
