The Throne Room of Mazzolin
This grand throne room could comfortably house an adult shadow dragon.
Luckily for the nobles of Mazzolin it does not. The court assembles
here to develop schemes to eradicate the Illithid of the underworld. A
large brainlike mass is projected onto the north wall with depictions
of troops around it striking at the creature viciously with obvious
intent to destroy. A large basalt throne with rich blue rothe hide
seatings sits in the southern half of the hall flanked by two smaller
thrones. A table extends east to west before the throne dais and is
lined on the north side by a simple row of chairs. A huge stone pillar
with chains is between the thrones and the table on the east side of
the hall, and the west displays a large basin for augury.
Behind the table towards the north end of the hall, row after row of basalt
benches that could easily accomodate over 500 troops are evenly spaced. The
ceiling of this room is vaulted towards the middle and buttressed along
the east and west side. The extreme south end of the room is a mural made of
smooth polished basalt stone with a great durithalite web etched across its
surface, the mural of the web has a shimmering blue spider in the middle and
is obviously of duergar craftsmanship. Also in the south behind the throne
end engraved in the floor is an incomplete city map marked with numerous
red x's.

here to develop schemes to eradicate the Illithid of the underworld. A
large brainlike mass is projected onto the north wall with depictions
of troops around it striking at the creature viciously with obvious
intent to destroy. A large basalt throne with rich blue rothe hide
seatings sits in the southern half of the hall flanked by two smaller
thrones. A table extends east to west before the throne dais and is
lined on the north side by a simple row of chairs. A huge stone pillar
with chains is between the thrones and the table on the east side of
the hall, and the west displays a large basin for augury.
Behind the table towards the north end of the hall, row after row of basalt
benches that could easily accomodate over 500 troops are evenly spaced. The
ceiling of this room is vaulted towards the middle and buttressed along
the east and west side. The extreme south end of the room is a mural made of
smooth polished basalt stone with a great durithalite web etched across its
surface, the mural of the web has a shimmering blue spider in the middle and
is obviously of duergar craftsmanship. Also in the south behind the throne
end engraved in the floor is an incomplete city map marked with numerous
red x's.

Before a Great Stairway

high gloss to allow the reflections of the mighty warriors to glint

connecting eventually to the north to the Great Llzazan cavern. A strange
