The First Floor Guard Room
The guard of the first floor has been given this small,
closet-sized room. The first floor guard appears to be a
troll of some occupation. This room is barely big enough for
this troll to live in, and is frequently seen roaming the
hallways instead of staying in his crampt room. The walls of
the room are solid rock, and there are some furs in the corner
for the troll to sleep on. In addition, there are several
corpses of various races that the troll has eaten.

An Intersection of Hallways
This intersection of hallways occurs almost in the dead center of
the tower. Towards the east and west run a couple small hallways,
while towards the north and south run the main hallway. The stairs
of the tower appear a short ways off to the north. This area seems to
be the most traveled area of the tower. While the low level innitates
of the tower goto their respective rooms on the lower levels, the higher
level raiders march through here daily towards the stairs.

This side hallway branches off from a small intersection towards the
west. This hallway seems to be used mainly by the apprentice and
iniates of the tower. This area is rarely luminated, with only the
occaisional dim torch. There are no rugs here, only a cold stone floor,
which is usually damp and unclean.

This slimy room is fairly large, and encompasses the eastern side of
the tower on the first level. The pool of muck is so thick that nobody
could see into it. The evidence around the area suggests that something
is lurking down in the pool, something unnatural. There appears to be
a kuo-toan guard, probably emoployed by the masters of the tower,
guarding the entrance to the pool.

Below a Mucky Pool
This slimy mucky pool is like a home to the kuo-toan, it reminds them
of their home, and is actually quite like their home. Guards have been
posted at each access point to the pool. These kuo-toan guards seem to
have found a new life and meaning working for the tower that they haven't
experienced elsewhere.

A Large, Slimy Cave
This large slimy cave is home to several kuo-toan, who can not live
in the dry enviornment of the tower, and need the swamp-like conditions.
This cave extends towards the south, while heading northward into the
swamp. The kuo-toan who live down here find it quite relaxing, and often
eat alligators that they catch in the swamp. This also serves as the
emergency exit of the tower.

The swamp water reaches down quite aways, until finally it hits a
small cave entrance underneath the tower towards the south. The surface
of the swamp lies upward. This area seems to be almost void of life, with
few fishes, and little alligator activity this deep into the water. There
seem to be few travellers who venture this far, however, there still remain
the decomposing corpses of travellers who have tried and drowned.

A Small Alligator Burrow In The Swamp
This small alligator burrow is home to at least six or seven alligators,
who lie in constant competition for food with the alligators just a ways
off towards the east. Their only supply of food lies in the adventurers
that travel this way, the corpses that are thrown out of the tower windows,
and any wandering mountain goats that fall off the mountain ledges into
the swamp. Of course, there are very few fish in this area, and not enough
to support these two alligator families.

This mountain pass rises up above the tower here, looking down on
the swamp below and the field towards the south. It appears that
much of this mountain pass is rarely traveled but for a few lost
souls. This area seems to become more ecologically sound as one
comes closer to the tree line towards the north. Several rocks seem
to be out of place towards the west.

This trail into the mountains is fairly difficult to scale, and many of
the passes have been cluttered with falling rocks. The travel along
these mountains passes are fair at best, and many have fallen to their
doom in the murky swamp behind the tower. There appears to be
a growing tree line further into the mountains.

This tight squeeze inbetween the tower and the rock face is simplay that,
a tight squeeze. Travelling through this space is tight and single file
at best. Gnomes and halflings appear to have the upper edge at going
through this space, while ogres and centaurs have a very difficult time.
This area seems to be hardly used, or if it is, someone has taken the
time to cover their tracks well.

The side trail comes to a brief halt as it reaches where the
east side of the tower meets up with the cliff space. There appears
to be a tight passage leading towards the back of the tower and into

A Side Trail, East of the Tower
This side trail spins off towards the northwest. The side of the
tower can be seen towards the immiediate west, while a small crack between
the tower and the cliff appears to be directly towards to the north. The
trail continues up until this crack where it appears to stop, and on
the other end, spins back towards the main trail towards the southwest.
This trail seems to be used less and less as it gets closer to the cliff.

A Side Trail, Heading Eastward
This side trail seems to head eastward and is considerably less
traveled than the main trail towards the entrance of the tower. This
trail seems to have been made, not by the large footprints of the main
trail, but by several smaller ones, possibly elven or dwarven. This
area seems to be out of sight of the humble man at the gates to the
tower for some reason or another.
