Sparring Arena
This slightly depressed center of the hall is used for practicing
fighting techniques, instruction of new warriors, and for settling personal
disputes. Unlike the rest of the hall, this circular area is made from hard
packed earth, with slight discolorations scattered throughout, no doubt from
dried blood. From the attitude of the other warriors present, no-one steps
into this ring unless they intend to use it.

Hall of Warriors
This grand hall is made from slabs of obsidian bound together with wide
bands of steel. Shield, banners, and wooden blanks cover the walls, depicting
the coats of arms for various warrior households residing in the city. The
floors are made from fine hewn obsidian and quartz block, placed closely
together without the use of mortar. The center of the hall is depressed
slightly, with a hard packed earthen floor to allow sparring, while posts
outline the perimeter.
