Rothe Bits
Here the products of the slaughterhouse can be sold to any drow of the
ghetto that has somehow managed to save enough to consider buying such
luxuries. Rothe skins are displayed on the wall and upon shelves behind a
large mushroom timber counter. The entrance to the slughterhouse itself is
a simple doorway to the north. Another doorway to the east takes one back to
the Llzazan Road.

This building houses the vats for soaking mushroom stalks to make them
rigid for use in construction. Svrifneblin slaves and lower class drow tend
vats of a noxious green liquid that steams generously as plank after plank
of mushroom timbers harvested form the Llzazan Mushroom Groves are treated.
The vats are in essence huge troughs that continue on to occupy the room to
the south as well. Planks are flated to the south from here for further
processing.

The display racks made of rushroom timbers that line the south wall of
this shop are all but eroded form disuse. The east wall once sported the
entrance to a forge, but the old door, as well as the forge were razed
in the destruction of house Llzazan. All that stands today is a huge pile
of rubble surrounded by three walls to the north, the south, and the west.

The most interesting feature of this room is the huge armor racks made
of mushroom timbers that supports the west wall and roof. Time has broken
down this structure to make it barley more than a pile of rubble. There is
an old counter in front of the empty armor racks, almost buried in the rubble
that has fallen upon it from above.

This small stone dwelling is more like a pile of rubble than a home. A
small pile of rothe hide lies crumpled in the northeast corner of this home
and a small bucket lies in the southeast corner. What appears to have been a
small window is now totally caved in, marking slightly more than a wide gap

This shop caters to the overseers of the svirfneblin slaves. It carries
all manner of equipment for both working the Fungus farms and motivating an
unwilling slave. The walls of the shop are made of crudely cut sone, and
compared to the other crumbling stone buildings in the ghetto this one looks
rather recently repaired.

Long ago, before the fall of House Llzazan to the combined Houses of
Arachdrathos, this portion of the Llzazan Caverns was the site of a great
battle, where Drow and Dwarf clashed over rich Durithalite deposits in
the area. It was where this tavern now stands, that a contingent of Llzazan
house nobles captured and executed a large band of Dwarven prisoners.
Fourteen skulls are bolted to the west wall of this taverrn, directly above
the bar. These fourteen skulls are the decapitated heads of the Dwarves the
Llzazan Nobles siezed on that day. This odd shrine to drow battle prowess
makes the Tavern of the Decapitated Dwarves one of the few sources of pride
for the downtrodden people of the Llzazan Ghetto.

Inn of the Decapitated Dwarves
The room here serves as a haven for the weary and wealthy drow visiting
the Llzazan Ghetto in serach of better prices on rothe and Flaming Fungus.
It features hard beds made of cavefisher silk and mushroom timbers, ice
cold water, and a slightly better degree of security than the streets of
the ghetto. The walls and roof are crumbling and the whole structure looks
as if it is about to become yet another meaningless pile of rubble littering
the Llzazan Caves.

unavailability of rothe leather in this portion of the city of Arachdrathos

The Road here runs form north to south through the second largest cave of
the Llzazan Ghetto, Bater Cave. This is the locale of many of the sleeziest
and scummiest shops in the realms, where houseless Drow come to trade for
parcel items of the absoulte lowest quality. The cave opens up more to the
south and there are buildings to both the east and west of the road, neither
of which have a door opening onto this street.

The road here runs form north to south in one of the smallest caves of
the Llzazan Ghetto. To the west side of the road there stand an old
barrel like structure with a door and some arrow slits that looks much like
an old guardpost once used to secure the Llzazan House territory from the
other houses of Arachdrathos. Now it seems to be unused and in poor repair.

This room is devoid of any furniture save a weapons rack, which is
quite empty along the west wall. The durithalite elementals made this guard
post totally useless, as they do not need the comforts of the former Drow
foot partols that used to watch these streets of Arachdrathos. A small pile
of bedding indicates that some poor soul has taken up refuge in this old
building.

The Llzazan Road
The road here runs form west to east through a narrow tunnel hewn in the
durithalite veind basalt of this cavern. To the east a great deal of sound
can be heard, while to the west, the cave is almost silent. The walls of the
cavern are very smooth here, and the tunnel is almost a perfect cylindar. A
slight breeze blows in from the west.

The road here passes before the house of Dzara the Silk Weaver. Large
spools of silk stand at either side of her door, probably harvested from
the cave fishers of this portion of the underworld. The house itself is
quite small, with stone walls and a mushroom stalk roof. The road continues
to the east and west.

The home of Dzara also serves as her shop. Here she weaves the silk of
spiders and cavefishers into garments fit for the lower class drow of the
Llzazan Ghetto. There is a huge loom along the south wall of her abode and
piles of silk and garments piled in a corner. The only exit from this room
is a doorway to the north.

rothe skins piled along the south wall of the house, which are probably
used for sleeping during the Underworld nights. The north wall is
featureless with the exception of a svirfneblinskin-covered window and a

This is the dwelling of a drow laborer. The walls of the dwelling are made
of cold black stone, and a svirfneblinskin-covered window is the only
feature of these walls save the door itself. There is a low bed made from
a pile of rothe skins in one corner of the room, and a mushroom stalk table
in another. A small fire ring serves as a kitchen under the window.

Llzazan Road Above a Hole in the Cavern Floor
The Road here continues from a hole in the floor to extend south through
the high Llzazan Cavern, home to the Llzazan temple to the Demoness Lolth
and the Lvyrach Armory. The nobles of Llzazan made this cavern their home and
their pride. Luckily, it escaped the ravages of the Arachdrathos raid on
house Llzazan.

kettle in the center of the abode.

The road travels form north to south here as it crosses the Upper Llzazan
Cavern. There is a huge structure on the east side of the road entirely made
of durithalite and translucent red marble. To the west side a large stone
dwelling that looks somewhat charred stands in slightly poor repair. To the
southwest there is a large building made of black crystal that extends to
the south wall of this cavern.
