An Ancient Hallway
The only part of the old palace still in place, this ancient
hallway is quite old. The walls are made of thick blocks of
grey stone, markings inscribed into them from long ago. Torches
are not needed here, a unnatural light spreads about the room,
perhaps the same magic which kept this hall from crumbling.

End of An Ancient Hallway
The only part of the old palace still in place, this ancient
hallway comes to an end here at a great tower. The walls are
made of thick blocks of grey stone, a huge stairway made of
the same leading up into the tower. The ancient hall continues
back east.

Huge stone steps lead upwards in a spiral, steps so large only
an ogre could walk up comfortably. Torches are placed here and
there for relatively good lightning. A bright magical glowing
can be seen from above. The stairway leads both up and back down.
