cilia that reach out from its head.  Several large openings on the
scales of the underbelly of this matron occasionally squirt out
blasts of ooze upon hibernating pupas, keeping them wet and moist
so that they may grow to be stronger.
A slimy nest matron appears to be Carnivore and is in excellent condition.
It's small in size.

organs. For the next year of its life, it will slowly begin
to change into a carnivorous beetle. The outer layer of this
creature is composed of thousands of small cells that secrete
a frosty liquid. Not only does the liquid cool and slow their
metabolism which conserves energy, they also use it to cool
down the surroundings, which helps keep bacteria and diseases
within minimal levels.
An hibernating pupa appears to be Insect and is in excellent condition.
It's tiny in size.
