On a Dark, Forlorn Passage Among the Trees
Suddenly a vast forest seems to come alive as if from nowhere. In the
vicinity grow hemlock, spruce, birch, oak, pine, palm, and cornock trees.
White ash and beeches line the frail path, the trunks providing homes to
many a creature, as do the rotting logs. The mellow bickering of a red robin
provides comfort in the deathly queiet environment. The ground plants are
primarily tindril grass, with occasional softwood ferns, hard as a leather
shoe, mingled in amongst. To the south this frail passage continues, while
a faint blue light can be seen to east.

The Blueleaf Tree
Standing in the center of this frail and narrow passage is a most truely
beautiful blueleaf tree. This tree takes the shape of a large maple,
its leaves radiating a faint blue light. The processed leaves are said
to produce a rich blue dye, and when burned, the wood generates immense blue
flames. It is rumored that this tree is where Goldrym first fell deeply
in love with nature, and it was soon after that the horrible evil that plagues
the deeper High Moor had begun. To the west can be seen a frail passage
between the thick trees, and to the north can be heard the light rustle of
flowing water.

A Widening Passage Among the Trees
Although the forest path widens quite considerably here, it seems to
come to a complete stop in front of an amusing hut built of thick bark.
The canopy formed overhead by the intertwined myriad of trees branches
locks out any possibility of daylight, in fact it is impossible to determine
the time of day in these realms. Heavy plant life prevents movement to the
east or west. A faint blue glow can be seen coming from the south, and
the front of a hut can be approached to the north.

Before the Bark Hut
The wide forest passage comes to a complete end here, the thick grasses
and flowers merging seamlessly into the base of a bark hut. In fact the
trees here seem to have been molded by magics to intertwine with the sides
of the hut to prevent any deeper passage into the High Moor. The sound of
moving water grows slightly louder here, however the thick vegetations does
not allow for any indication as to where the source of water lies. To the
north lies a bark hut, while a forest passage can be seen to the south.

Gone are the days that my forest will again see the true rays of the sun
or the calming beams of the moon. Since Goldrym has grown in power and began
to try and change the ways of nature and use it to his advantage, all hell
has broken lose. His expirements have wreaked havok on the natural order of
events in the wilderness. Many of the species that once survived alongside
each other are no longer peaceful. I must find a way to put an end to the slow
destruction of the High Moor, and travel to the ruins in hopes of defeating the

On a Forlorn Passage Among the Trees
This narrow passage darkens quite suddenly due to the large overgrowth
of branches overhead, the canopy of leaves keeping out both sun and moon.
White ash and beeches line the frail path, the trunks providing homes to
many a creature, as do the rotting logs. The hammering of woodpeckers
mingles with the sweet singing of bluebirds. The ground plants are
primarily tindril grass, with occasional softwood ferns, hard as a leather
shoe, mingled in amongst. To the south is a more traveled path, and this
frail passage continues through the darker woods to the north.
Obvious exits: -North -South
