This huge road travels from one end of the city to the other, and every
building is on a road that leads off of it. From the soldiers camps and
naval docks in the east to the cathedral and keep in the west, everything is
visible from here. The road itself is thick, heavy cobblestone, with two
small gutters on the side. These gutters contain a viscous yellow liquid
that boild and sends off small tendrils of steam.

The massive oaken planks of the wharf are well worn with the constant
shuffling of soldiers and supplies as the fleet prepares for another naval
invasion of its enemies. Crates of supplies are stacked up neatly in
piles along the side, and thick ropes along the side of the dock keep
supplies from being pushed over the side by heavy waves. Many of the
crates are waterlogged as if having been in the water at some point,
although their solid construction has kept any of the contents from being
exposed to the corrosive sea water.

The Main Deck of a Massive Trireme
This massive vessel is the flagship of the fleet, designed to carry over
three hundred soldiers from one port to another. While it has little of the
weaponry found on other vessels it is always under maximum protection due
to its carrying the commodore of the flotilla. The decks of the ship are
scrubbed meticulously clean, although the cleaning cannot conceal dark
splotches that appear to be from a great deal of blood being spilt onboard.

Thick lines of rope lie coiled in neat piles alongside the dock, used by
the sailors in the fleet to move supplies from the docks to the ships of the
invasion fleet. The flotilla of warships is currently in port, being
prepared for yet another attack by sea. The massive vessels are the work
of many years construction, although a drydock or other construction
facility is nowhere in sight.

The large oaken wharf takes a sharp turn here, necesary in order to allow
space in the harbour for the giant warships currently docked. The harbour
itself is secluded from the rolling seas, but the occasional heavy wave
crashes noisily upon the dock. Safety lines lead from the dock and are
available in case anyone falls into the deep blue waters below. Small
pieces of driftwood float lazily upon the waters below.

A large hut at the end of the wharf contains most of the supplies
currently scheduled for loading onto the warfleet, and include items ranging
from the mundane to the exotic. Lines of weapons are leaned neatly against
the walls barrels of fresh water are nearby for the long journeys among the
salty sea water of the ocean. Crates of salted beef are also stacked here,
as well as kegs of ale for the sailors of the fleet.

of any ship that dares face it in naval combat. Loaded to the gunwhales
with enough weaponry to siege a castle it has been used to both sink naval
crafts and attack shore based installations from the safety of the seas.

to propel it, although with its firepower obtaining slaves is not a problem.
