   Propped against the southern wall is the corpse of a large barbarian.
The torso of the unlucky barbarian has a large gaping hole right through
middle of it.  The barbarian is dressed much like the other barbarians in
the tower.  Prying open the lids of the barbarian's eyes, you can see that
unlike the others, his eyes have their natural color.  The cold climate of the
tower seems to have preserved the corpse well, and a time of death cannot be
assessed.  The hallway continues up to the west, and it descends to the north.

   A staircase leads down to the winding passages of the third floor.  The
staircase isn't nearly as precarious as the previous ones.  This level of the
tower appears to be some sort of large holding area or prison.  Many doors
line the corridors on this floor of the tower.  The sound of moaning and the
cracking of whips pierce the cold brisk air on this level.  From here, exits
lead north, south, east and west as well as down to the third level of the
tower.

this level of the ice tower.  The prisoners in these cells are kept behind
wooden doors with small portals of iron bars.  The deep yells and curses of
giant slavemasters drown out the moaning of the barbarian prisoners here.
Occasionally the crack of a whip and the shrill scream of anguish ring out
along the corridors.  On this level, ice isn't so prevalent and the natural
texture of granite dominates much of the walls and floors here.

A Granite Staircase
   A steady pattern of steps has been carved out of the rock here to form a
staircase in the middle of the ice tower.  Water drips down the staircase and
accumulates in small puddles at the base of the incline.  The ice which makes
up most of this place doesn't seem to have solidified here.  The steps lead up
to the top level of the tower here and to the west, past the iron gate the
slave barracks can be found.

Atop the Ice Tower
   Blinding gusts of wind whip about the top of the ice tower.  Jagged
shards of ice come barreling into the eyes creating an almost zero visibility
situation.  The strong wind causes a shrieking sound like that of a banshee.
It is easy to get lost up here, and one wrong step could send you tumbling
down the sides of the tower.  The incredibly low temperatures can cause
hypothermia in a matter of minutes, so quick movement is a necessity.

The Throne Room of the Ice Sorceress
   This beautifully crafted room is covered in gold.  The throne as well as
statues and goblets are all made from gold.  The Ice Sorceress has likely
taken a liking to the shimmering element.  The remainder of the objects in this
room which aren't made of gold, are covered in ice.  Looking around
it seems that this room also shows signs of being a natural cave, which has
been cleverly disguised as pure ice.  Small patches of granite mark the
walls in some spots.  From here, the Ice Sorceress commands her loyal subjects.
In the corner of the room, a large deposit of gold has been left as a gift
to the Ice Sorceress.
