On the Beginning of Newhaven Way
   Six sets of flagpoles have been meticulously spaced and embedded along each
side of the cobblestone path leading up to a massive gate.  Each pole supports
either a large banner emblazoned with Newhaven's crest or a large scale and
balance.  The roadway has been formed from tiny dark brown stones and has been
mortared tightly together.  The area is very picturesque.  The lush landscape
of the area is offset by the vibrant colors of the many wild flowers that have
sprouted about the flagpoles.  The roadway is completely free of any debris
other than a sign.

The Beginning of Newhaven Way
   A narrow path of dirt and rock begins to transform into a cobblestone
pathway here.  Massive oak trees, withered and cracked, line the right
side of the roadway, while massive green and flourishing oak trees line
the left side of the avenue, spreading their branches high over head. The
branches intertwine forming a strange and twisted canopy of the living
and the dead overhead.  Tiny stones of dark brown have been embedded into
the earth tightly.  The path has been cleared of any debris while multitudes
of large flowers have been planted along each side of the path. The flowers
mirror the canopy overhead, on the right side, each flower oozes a red puss
that drips down each withered petal feeding the weed packed flower bed below.
while on the left side, each flower is in pristine condition as no sign of
weeds have managed to grow within the loam of the garden.

Between a Row of Wicked Trees on Newhaven Way
   A street of yellowish-brown brick has been laid out and mortared together
stretching off towards the north.  Black ooze streams along the surface of the
stones, filling the mortared cracks with its dark residue.  Massive oak trees,
withered and cracked, line the roadway, spreading their bare branches overhead.
The trees sway back and forth whispering a ghastly hymn which seems to speak of
pestilence and decay.  Tiny red flowers have grown along the roadside.  A puss
oozes red from each flower, dripping down each withered petal to feed the weed
-packed flower bed that lies below.

Along Newhaven Way before an Eerie City
   A street of dull, yellowish-brown brick stretches off towards the north into
the city.  Large oak trees have managed to grow alongside the roadway despite
the barren soil.  The trees are extremely frail and withered.  Piles of leaves
and dirt clutter the roadway.  Tiny red flowers have sprouted along the side of
the road.  Each flower oozes streams of yellowish-red puss that drips from its
tiny withered petals, feeding the weed-packed flower bed below.  The putrid
scent of death and decay permeates the area here.

Intersection of Newhaven Way and Bliss Boulevard
   Shoddy inlaid stones of light-yellow have been checkered with the yellowish-
brown stones lining Newhaven Way.  The checkered boulevard stretches off to the
east and west.  A small fountain has been raised in the center of the inter-
section.  Large, red flowers grow randomly in an incomplete circle around the
marble water basin.  The sounds of the bubbling fount and the putrid scent of
the flowers contribute to a sense of eeriness about the area.  A small sign has
been posted within the flowerbed before the marble of the fountain.

Along the Ruins of Bliss Boulevard
   Rough-hewn bricks of light-yellow shimmer slightly, absorbing all sources
of light with their rough surfaces.  Each stone has been hastily carved and
set into the earth, each block having been spaced fitfully and then mortared
together.  The road stretches off to the east and west, while a huge wooden
door breaches the building to the north.  A worn, soiled floor mat has been
thrown before the doorway almost as an afterthought.  Two tarnished, bronzed
urns stand at each side of the entranceway of the building to the north.  The
scent of death and decay accompanies wisps and tendrils of smoke that seems
to permeate the entire area.

On the Ruins of Bliss Boulevard
   The bricks of this boulevard are primitive in their formation, the surface
rough and seeming to absorb all light that alights upon it.  Every stone has
been almost randomly set into the earth and then mortared together.  Puddles
of grey ooze bubble and burp alongside the road as it continues it journey to
to the west.  To the east, an intersection sees a blending of the stones from
this boulevard and the checkered pattern of the roadway it meets there.  A
solitary row of large pots have been scattered along the city wall that runs
parallel to the road to the south.  Each pot contains a single, dull yellow
flower that looks as if it is in the first stages of decay.

Intersection of Paradise Lane and Bliss Boulevard
   Primitively carved stones have been checkered with the alabaster wedges of
Paradise Lane to form a check pattern throughout the intersection.  A stairway
leads up the southeastern section of the stronghold's wall to an open-air tower
above.  Each stair has either been roughly cut, or severly weathered by age and
the elements.  A brass sign has been mounted at the bottom of the stairs by a
member of the stronghold's ruling council.

   A decaying staircase leads to the top of the tower.
You extend your sights upward.
On Top of the Decaying Southeastern Tower
   Yellowish-brown stone has been roughly chiseled with careless detail and
stacked-up and mortared together to form a massive tower.  The tower overlooks
the southeastern land and walls surrounding the city.  Large parapets of jagged
stone line the top of the tower.  A large tattered banner of cyan and white has
been centered and hung down the tower wall facing the front of the city as a
withered, maple flagpole protrudes toward the sky supporting a shredded banner
once emblazoned with the city's crest.  Slivers of obsidian have been embedded
into the tower's stones reinforcing its structural integrity.

On the Ruins of Paradise Lane
   Abused, alabaster stone has been cut and chiseled into triangular blocks.
Each wedge has been haphazardly placed and mortared together to form a roadway
that leads off to the north and south.  A translucent, rose-colored ooze covers
the majority of the road's surface.  An engraved whalebone, still supporting
pieces of rotting flesh, has been placed right outside the building that stands
on the east side of the street.  A few clay pots, several of which contain a
withered flower, have been lined against the eastern city wall.  A checkered
avenue intersects with Paradise Lane off to the south.

Along the Ruins of Paradise Lane
   The road here is comprised of cracked, alabaster stone which has been worked
into triangular blocks.  The wedges have been spaced haphazardly and then had a
thin mortar applied to lock them into place.  An oak door set in the western
wall is flanked by several barrels laden with rotting grains, fruits, and vege-
tables.  The lane enters from the south, passes the shop to the west, and
continues off to the north.

Intersection of Paradise Lane and Sanctuary Place
   Primitively carved stones of rose have been checkered with the worked-iron
stones that make up Sanctuary Place to form the intersection, here.  Paradise
Lane enters from the south and passes through the merge to leave to the north.
A statue of worked whalebone stands here, its color and the weeds the only
indication of how long it has been abandoned.  Sitting before the sculpture, a
small sign has been almost completely overgrown and hidden from view.

planted within each pot.  Triads of symbols have been etched into each stone.

the north.  A strong scent of death and decay lingers here.

   Jagged inlaid stones of rose have been checkered with the light cyan stones
lining Refuge Street.  The checkered avenue stretches off to the south and to
the west.  A stairway ascending up the northeastern section of the wall leads
to an open air tower.  Each step has been cut in such a way so that the front
edges of each step is jagged and sharp.  Small grooves have been chiseled into
each stair offering a better grip on the stairs to avoid slipping during rain.
A small dull brass sign has been placed at the bottom of the stairs.  The air
is crisp and dry.

ground making a simplistic road of cobblestone.  Each stone has been covered in
black grime.  A row of clay pots once containing a single, light blue flower
tipped with white, have been broken and piled up against the northern city wall
facing the city.  The street continues on to the east and west.  A checkered
roadway begins off to the east.  A light scent of death and decay lingers here.

Along the Ruins of Refuge Street
   Stones of light cyan-contrast have been chiseled and embedded into the
ground making a simplistic road of cobblestone.  Each stone has been caked
with a light coating of pink ooze.  The ooze has long since dried and has
begun to flake.  A small fountain has been built in the center of the
street.  A naked woman holding her outstretched arms high in the air adorns
the top of the fountain.  Her head has been tilted up as if in prayer as a
single jet of ghastly red fluid erupts from her mouth and flows about her
body.  Large blue and white flowers have been casually planted in an
incomplete circle about the fountain. The flowers writhe with life as they
ooze puss from the center of their stem.  The street continues on to the east
and west.  A heavy scent of death and decay lingers in the air as the sounds
of gurgling blood echoes endlessly here.

ground masking a simplistic road of cobblestone.  Each stone has a dull hue as
a crimson ooze like substance has dried upon each of the stones' surface.  A
row of large clay pots, once containing a single light blue flower tipped with
white, have been destroyed and racked-off to one side on the roadway.  The road
continues on to the east and west.  A checkered roadway begins off to the west.

placed at the bottom of the stairs.  The air is crisp and dry, with a definite
sense of foreboding that fills the area.

embossed in the surface of each block, the origin and meaning of which is near
impossible to discern.  The tattered remains of a banner hangs from the top of
the western wall, the fabric having been bleached nearly white by exposure to
the elements.  Rapture Way enters from the south and heads to an intersection
with Refugee Street to the north.

Along the Ruins of Refuge Street

begun to flake.  A small fountain has been built in the center of the
street.  A naked woman holding her outstretched arms high in the air adorns
the top of the fountain.  Her head has been tilted up as if in prayer as a
single jet of ghastly red fluid erupts from her mouth and flows about her
body.  Large blue and white flowers have been casually planted in an
incomplete circle about the fountain. The flowers writhe with life as they
ooze puss from the center of their stem.  The street continues on to the east
and west.  A heavy scent of death and decay lingers in the air as the sounds
of gurgling blood echoes endlessly here.

Intersection of Paradise Lane and Refuge Street
   Jagged inlaid stones of rose have been checkered with the light cyan stones
lining Refuge Street.  The checkered avenue stretches off to the south and to
the west.  A stairway ascending up the northeastern section of the wall leads
to an open air tower.  Each step has been cut in such a way so that the front
edges of each step is jagged and sharp.  Small grooves have been chiseled into
each stair offering a better grip on the stairs to avoid slipping during rain.
A small dull brass sign has been placed at the bottom of the stairs.  The air
is crisp and dry.

   Worn, alabaster stone has been hewn and worked into fair-sized wedges.  Each
block has been set hastily and then mortared into place to form a roadway that
leads off to the north and to the south.  A translucent, rose-colored ooze is
spattered all about the avenue.  Several clay pots have been placed about the
eastern wall facing toward the city.  A single, rose-colored flower has been
planted within each pot.  Triads of symbols have been etched into each stone.
A dull, cyan banner hangs from the western wall as a checkered road leaves to
the north.  A strong scent of death and decay lingers here.

leading off to the north and south.  Large clay pots have been placed about the
eastern wall facing toward the city.  An enormous stained-glass window once
depicting a balance and scale in cyan and white stretches the entire length of
the western wall.  The window has been caked with blood and gore.  A strong
scent of death and decay lingers here.

Intersection of Paradise Lane and Sanctuary Place
   Primitively carved stones of rose have been checkered with the worked-iron
stones that make up Sanctuary Place to form the intersection, here.  Paradise
Lane enters from the south and passes through the merge to leave to the north.
A statue of worked whalebone stands here, its color and the weeds the only
indication of how long it has been abandoned.  Sitting before the sculpture, a
small sign has been almost completely overgrown and hidden from view.

Along the Ruins of Paradise Lane
   The road here is comprised of cracked, alabaster stone which has been worked
into triangular blocks.  The wedges have been spaced haphazardly and then had a
thin mortar applied to lock them into place.  An oak door set in the western
wall is flanked by several barrels laden with rotting grains, fruits, and vege-
tables.  The lane enters from the south, passes the shop to the west, and
continues off to the north.

the majority of the road's surface.  An engraved whalebone, still supporting
pieces of rotting flesh, has been placed right outside the building that stands
on the east side of the street.  A few clay pots, several of which contain a
withered flower, have been lined against the eastern city wall.  A checkered
avenue intersects with Paradise Lane off to the south.

above.  Each stair has either been roughly cut, or severly weathered by age and
the elements.  A brass sign has been mounted at the bottom of the stairs by a
member of the stronghold's ruling council.

flower that looks as if it is in the first stages of decay.

   Rough-hewn bricks of light-yellow shimmer slightly, absorbing all sources
of light with their rough surfaces.  Each stone has been hastily carved and
set into the earth, each block having been spaced fitfully and then mortared
together.  The road stretches off to the east and west, while a huge wooden
door breaches the building to the north.  A worn, soiled floor mat has been
thrown before the doorway almost as an afterthought.  Two tarnished, bronzed
urns stand at each side of the entranceway of the building to the north.  The
scent of death and decay accompanies wisps and tendrils of smoke that seems
to permeate the entire area.
