Witch Burial Mound
   There is a gigantic pit dug out on the eastern side of this area. Inside are
clumps of dead bodies, headless. Some of them, however, do still have their
heads, but only a few. Sulphur has been thrown all over the body parts to
prevent them from smelling up the area. The sulphur, however, has not been
totally successful. A sign on a post is here before the pit.

Center of Town
   There are pillories in the center of the area. Several women are locked in,
lifeless. It looks as though they have been there for a few days. Flies are
buzzing around several of them. Some of these women have enough strength to
wave the flies off even with the limited mobility they have. In the very center
of all of these pillories there is a very tall stake. Underneath it are burnt,
charred ashes of a fire that had gone out. Burnt ends of rope hang off of the
stake. The prior occupant of the wooden stake had probably been relieved of the
burdens of the rope as soon as the fires consumed her. To the north is the
Market Square. To the south is the Town Well.

   An abundance of people and elves walk over to a large well with their own
buckets. Each person fills the empty bucket already in the well and takes that
bucket, replacing it with their own. The well is elevated by some steps built
under it. Many round stones make up the structure. Some people sit on the steps
and drink some water from their buckets, splashing their hands in the cool
liquid.

   A small wooden fence wrapping around this village comes
to a stop for about fifteen feet before it starts up again
creating an entryway to Werrun.  The road below is made of
finely crushed gravel; several portions of it displaced
because of such frequent use.

   Just north of the entryway to the village, a small stone
fountain greets travellers and merchants to Werrun.  A large
stone statue rests in the center of a cobblestone courtyard
in the shape of Malfun, the founder and leader of Werrun;
water cascading from his open hands.

   This portion of Werrun is an open grounds serving various
outdoor merchants.  An earthly smell of animal feces violates
the nearby air, hinting towards a farm environment.  The ground
below is made up of tightly placed cobblestones, where in several
spots grass has sprouted between loosened stones.

   A very large building rests to the north - the entryway to
Malfun's residence.  This home looks much more spacious as
well as luxurious then any of the other Werrun homes.  Beautiful
