drown out in the germanation period.  The corn that does grow looks scrawny

The Crossing of Many Paths in Salol
   Several paths meet here.  This large crossing is one of the busiest
non-paved intersections in the entire world.  The dirt roads that meet here
are used by both farmers and merchants.  The farmers use the road to travel
from field to field.  The merchants use the road to both enter the farming
community and to haul the many foodwares out of Salol to the larger trading
communities.  The intersection is almost always clogged with traffic as
there is no way of regulating the many large produce carts.  Many fields can
be seen off in the distance, as well as some assorted village homes.  One
may travel north on the main path of Salol or south out of the farming
community.  There are also some small dirt roads that circumvent the many

   The dirt road leads towards the many large and healthy looking fields
maintained by the villagers of Salol.  There are many interesting concepts used
by the farmers to irrigate and weed their crops.  This farming community is
quite advanced technologically.  One can see many farmers and animals milling

and forms both a dike during high water and a relatevely dry roadway.  The road
is most used by traveling merchants and the farmers who leave the area to sell

farmland is now in almost the center of the known world.  It is very safe and
is not guarded what-so-ever from invasion and raids.  The village itself was
originally settled by the humans who lived in the large city of Darngor.  They
traveled quite a great distance to settle here and live off the land.  There
are many types of crops grown in the fields to the north.  One may travel north

A Turn on the Main Path of Salol
   This farming community was once a very large and prosperous town on the
frontier of the civilized world.  The world caught up quickly and now this
farmland is now in almost the center of the known world.  It is very safe and
is not guarded what-so-ever from invasion and raids.  The village itself was
originally settled by the humans who lived in the large city of Darngor.  They
traveled quite a great distance to settle here and live off the land.  There
are many types of crops grown in the fields to the north.  One may travel north
or west on this muddy road.

Approaching the Farming Community of Salol
   The farms and fields of the village of Salol are reknown for their high
crop output.  The vegetables grown here are quite spectacular and sought after
by the cooks and chefs of Duris's grandest cities.  The ground around here
is covered with lush, green grass.  The road rises above the surrounding ground
and forms both a dike during high water and a relatevely dry roadway.  The road
is most used by traveling merchants and the farmers who leave the area to sell
their goods in the more populated trading regions.  One may travel north or
south.

On the Dirt Road of Salol
   The dirt road leads towards the many large and healthy looking fields
maintained by the villagers of Salol.  There are many interesting concepts used
by the farmers to irrigate and weed their crops.  This farming community is
quite advanced technologically.  One can see many farmers and animals milling
about the surrounding country side.  The dirt path below is raked two times a
week to maintain its smooth surface.  The gravel mixed in with the soil is
often thrown around by the bored children.  One may travel north or south.

The Crossing of Many Paths in Salol
   Several paths meet here.  This large crossing is one of the busiest
non-paved intersections in the entire world.  The dirt roads that meet here
are used by both farmers and merchants.  The farmers use the road to travel
from field to field.  The merchants use the road to both enter the farming
community and to haul the many foodwares out of Salol to the larger trading
communities.  The intersection is almost always clogged with traffic as
there is no way of regulating the many large produce carts.  Many fields can
be seen off in the distance, as well as some assorted village homes.  One
may travel north on the main path of Salol or south out of the farming
community.  There are also some small dirt roads that circumvent the many
fields that go east and west.

On the Dirt Path In Front of a Large Corn Field
   The path continues through the fertile lands of Salol.  There is a wooden
fence to the west that leads into another very important crop for this farming
village, a corn field.  The corn is used in the community to make many kinds of
breads and meals, and is also sold to passing merchants for a hefty price.  The
farmers of this small agricultural village use this road to transport goods or
to go from field to field in their daily chores.  One may travel west into the
corn field or north and south on the road.

On the Dirt Road In Front of the Radish Patch
   The path continues to travel through the fertile farm land.  The grasses
near the path are lush and healthy and many small dandilions grow up, their
bright yellow showig up well on the green bed of grass.  One can see a large
radish field and a large corn field, one on each side of the dirt path.  There
seems to be a great deal of farming going on in this region.  The people who
live in this region are a hardy people, living off the land and its bounty.
The wooden gate to the radish patch is located to the east.  One may travel
north or south on the dirt path.
