As you enter the wormhole, you feel yourself being torn into a thousand pieces,
scattered over the entirety of reality. Bits of your shattered
consciousness float randomly about the universe with no overall
direction or purpose. Suddenly, you find yourself elsewhere..
A Large Common Room
Unlike many of the taverns and Inns within this city, this one lacks the
pungent scent of old ale and sweat. The common room is quite elegant,
decorated with tasteful art and expensive rugs. Several round wooden tables dot
the room, each one providing enough seats for five individuals. The fresh
scent of smoke wafts up from a nearby fireplace, which crackles loudly near the
southern wall. Tapestries and paintings hang from the wall, most depicting
desert nobles in different states. Some of are royal hunts and others
of massive parties. It is quite obvious by the decor, only the rich are
welcome here.

The Reception Area of the Lone Desert Star
The floor has been constructed using lumber boards with the measurements
of three by six. A number of these strong boards have been nailed onto the
frame of the building to ensure stability. The desk, couches, and chairs all
within this room rely on the strength of the craftsmanship of the floor. The
couch sits off in the left hand corner of the room next to a large open window.
In front of the couch lays a table of sorts for the placement of morning brews
such as coffee and tea. On either side of the couch are small wooden chairs.
The reception desk is in the northern corner of the room, while the hallway
leading towards the comfortable rentable rooms remains behind the desk. The
sounds of cooks and maids are sometimes audible early in the mornings, aside
from that, not much else gets within ear shot within these walls, otherwise
guests would be very displeased to hear a noise in the middle of the night.

An Entrance to a Large Tent
The Lone Desert Star is spot for the influential nobles and merchants that
can afford the finest in wine and food. The entrance speaks of high social
standings. No expense was spared in furnishing this Inn, with its richly
crafted wooden paneling that covers the entrance walls. Imported brass
lanterns with etched glass covers all illumination as well, casting their soft
glow over the crimson carpeting and oaken cloak rack. The fine scent of
imported tobacco smoke and roasted pheasant fills the air, combining with the
low murmur of patrons, to create a relaxing atmosphere. Sounds and smells of
celebration come from within the inn. This is a hot spot for all. It attracts
a great number of people at first glance as they enter the city.
