   This passage through the mountains is carved out of what seems to be
unbreakable rock, but burn marks and a perfect cut are apparent on all
of the edges.  A passageway opens north into a dark, foreboding landmass
that looks to have some sort of towers above it.

   This enormous passage between the rocks extends at least fifty to
sixty feet in either direction.  There are scorch marks all over the
black, lifeless earth.  The rocks to the east and west are smooth and
blackened with burn marks and resonate terrible black magics.

Before a Subterranean Passage
   A subterranean passage can be seen dug into the ground north of here,
creating a gateway into the great unknown of this lifeless, Undead
continent.  A fowl stench of death and decay emits as the passage slopes
further into the ground.

   This passage opens up to the great darkness below.  This guarded area
has a black gate leading further north and down into the subterrain.
The gate is operated by a series of levers to the left and right, when
pulled properly they open the gate and allow passage into the great below.

Pool of Blood in the Center of the Cavern
   The stream of blood from the north continues into this portion of the
cavern and then cascades down below.
   This large subterranean cavern looks to be dome shaped, but even with
the most powerful vision, it is still quite dark.  The smells of death
and decay here are very strong.  Any light source within this environment
now causes the walls to give off a dark red glow.

A black rock lizard crawls across the walls.
A large green snake is slithering in and out of cracks in the rocks.

In a Flow of Blood
   A small fall of blood flows down below.  The flow of the blood is not as
steady as a waterfall, but rather flows in spurts with different
consistencies.  The sound the blood makes as it flows into the pool below
sounds like someone vomitting into a puddle.

At a Pool of Blood
   The blood from blow cascades into a small pool where it clots onto
the sides of rocks.  Blood cells have clotted up against the rocks into
a very thick, stinky mess.  This cavern down here looks somewhat more
natural, although still heavily chiseled away with some sort of magic.

and makes a halt at a wall in the cavernous area.  Thare are many
burn marks apparent on the walls here that have been on all of the
walls within this entire place.

going straight down.  Loud groaning and roaring sounds can be heard
coming from below as that is where a lot of commotion must be going on.
This tunnel is still enormous and can fit many people or beasts as it
opens below.
