A Sandy Clearing on the Northern River Bank
This tall grassy field blows in the breeze here. The yellow and
pale green grass waves and bobs up and down in unicine with the
wind, gently carressing the valley floor of Barovia. From this
higher vantage point, the hazy mists that choke the air out of
the lower portions of the valley have lifted somewhat, making it
easier to see. However, a gloomy and dark presence still clutches
even the proudest of hearts knowing that the spires of Castle
Ravenloft stand tall, constantly watching on from the east.

A Well-Travelled Gravel Highway
This is the only road that wraps through the great wilderness
of Barovia. Leaves litter the ground, but do not mask the road
completely. Grass has overgrown most of the road, which has been
beaten a few lenghts into the ground. A dark mist settles upon
the area, blocking farsight through much of the surrounding
areas, which imposes an element of paranoia and readiness upon
the chests of any of those brave enough to venture further towards
the castle of the first vampire.

A Rocky Clearing on the Valley's Edge
This clearing on the northwestern edge of the valley
of Barovia looks up directly to the Lysaga Hill, directly
east of it. However, the ledge on this portion of the
rise above here is quite small and does not appear to
go to any places of particular interest. The grass in
this area grows tall and unkept, blowing gracefully
in the wind.
