The Master Necromancer's Chamber
The stench of chemicals and solvents almost chokes you and makes it
extremely difficult to breathe. Various body parts lie on tables around the
room, and cadavers of beings from both the prime and astral plane stand
against the east wall, waiting for the master's attention. The room itself
is made of pitch black rock that lacks any color, giving the impression that
the room is much larger than it really is. Along the north wall lies a large
table that the master necromancer uses for embalming his victims. Along the
south wall is a table which contains various chemicals and solvents that the
master necromancer uses in his dark arts.

can be heard from above, as the master necromancer works on this latest
creation. The room itself is made up of black rock, much like the rest of the

itself is pitch black, and almost seems as though it doesn't exist. Along the
west wall is a staircase that leads upwards towards the master's chambers, and
downwards towards the foyer of the guild.

A Large Courtyard in the Githyanki Fortress
The ground all around this large courtyard has magical runes inscribed
deeply into the stone to help protect the Githyanki from any magical attacks.
The runes look to be as old as the Githyanki themselves, but their appearance
is as if they were made just this day. A large fountain stands in the middle
of the courtyard, and next to it stands a massive statue of Gith, the leader
of the Githyanki in their rebellion against their Illithid masters.

A Small Street Through the Githyanki Fortress
The street here is broad, allowing for many people to gather and as well
to allow for large Githyanki raiding parties to form up and make plans. In
the middle of the street is a large pole, and atop of the pole is the corpse
of an Illithid that has been skewered through its midsection. To the north
of the street a prison of some sort can be seen.

A Narrow Street in the Githyanki Fortress
The street here is narrow and cramped, obviously as a tactical point
inside the fortress. Two walls to the north and south stand thirty feet tall,
and a solid stone roof covers the street here. Further to the west a fountain
can be seen, along with a statue. To the north and south of the street stand
towers where Githyanki lords and commoners dwell. To your east two massive
iron gates that guard the entrance of the fortress can be seen.

Before a Pair of Iron Gates
You see before you a pair of massive iron gates that close off the entrance
into the Githyanki fortress. The gates themselves are made up of black iron
and have strange and mystical writings on them that are older than anyone
can remember. Above the gates is a bas relief of Gith the leader of the
Githyanki in her struggle against the Illithid. To the north and south
stands a thirty foot high wall to keep intruders out. Spaced approximately
ten feet apart stand Githyanki Knights and Warriors that scan the
astral plane for invaders.

from the absolute carnage presented here, that many an unfortunate animal
or traveler has met their end in this field of death.

Road Through the Killing Fields
The road if it can be called that is covered in mud and made up of 10 foot
long beams of wood spaced horizontally one the ground approximately 5 inches
apart. There are small trenches made from wagon wheels in the mud between
the beams, a sure sign of a well used road. There is a small wooden sign stuck
in the mud here. A thick fog blankets the road, masking the horrors that
surround it on either side, accept for the occasional shrieks and groans from
the surrounding area all is quiet. A road continues to the north through
the troll hills and this mud covered road leads south deeper into the killing
fields.
