   Although there is no path here, travel is fairly easy.  Light filters
through the canopy above, and as you walk a light crunching can be
heard from the heavy underbrush of fallen leaves.  The chitterings
and scurrying of animals is more evident here.  Travel is possible
towards the east and back west lies the forest path.

End of the Path Through Rhanale Forest
   The path comes to an end here, leading deeper into the forest of
Rhanale.  Many stories and tales have been told of adventurers finding
great fortunes within this forest, or of discovering lands unknown to the
average man.  From here, though, this appears to be just another ordinary
forest, with great trees on every side and the sun creeping through the
dense canopy above, casting rays of light upon the ground.  The sounds of
birds and other animals scurrying through the underbrush fills the forest
with lively sounds.  The path leads back west, where the forest appears
to thin out, while the trees become thick to the east.

A Path Through Rhanale Forest
   The beginnings of a path begin here, leading into the forest.  This
forest once grew and flourished where the city now lies, but has since
been pushed aside outside the city.  This path of dirt is obviously well
traveled, as roots and other plants have since given up trying to
overgrow it and are now content to let those pass.  The forest is alive
with the sounds of creatures moving through the underbrush and the trees
above, the loud call of a bird sounds in the distance.  The bustle of
the city is still audible from here, though, a long street lies west,
while the path into the forest continues eastward.

    It becomes much quieter here as the street ends abruptly
and is taken over by trees instead.  Towering high above you
in nearly every direction it's amazing they were not noticed
before.  The pleasant sound of wildlife can be heard quietly
here.  Shaiennar Street continues back west.

The Market
   Many booths and stands surround you, filled with fruits, vegetables,
breads, pastries, and other fine foods.  Vendors walk about shouting out
or showing off their wares.  Sailors and merchants push their way through
busily, while town folk and travellers sort through the market, looking
for something to buy.  Although there is much bustle in the market and the
city in general, a strange sense of uneasiness can be felt.  On closer
inspection, things simply look amiss, especially for one who traveled
through Torrhan only a year ago.  Many of the stands are now empty and
falling apart, the buildings have begun to look unkept and dirty or simply
abandoned.  This same market was once used to catering to triple the number
of merchants, sailors, and visitors.  The great towers of the palace are
visible to the north and the market square lies west.

The Market Square
   Many booths and stands surround you, filled with fruits, vegetables,
breads, pastries, and other fine foods.  Vendors walk about shouting out
or showing off their wares.  An assortment of people can be found here -
dwarves, elves, humans, halflings, gnomes.  Sailors and merchants push
their way through busily, attempting to reach their destination. Despite
the bustle of the city, though, a sense of uneasiness settles upon you.
