The low ceiling, and small furniture show that the owner of this home
must be somewhat short. The house itself is extremely small, there is
barely enough room to hold the small chair and table and the bed seems to
have been stuffed into the entire western half of the home. A small wood
door leads back out of the home to the south.

A massive stone building stands to the south and a small wood-frame
home is to the north. Beautiful stone work marks the door and doorway of
the building to the south, marking it as something somewhat special.
Other than the doorway, the rest of the building is made of plain, thick,
sturdy granite. The wood-frame house to the north has a flat roof, there
is no rain or other weather to protect from inside the cavern. The wood
is of high quality, but has not been decorated in any way. The path
continues to the east and west.

The squeaks and shuffles of a few restless bats floats in from
someplace nearby, mixing with the faint echo of voices and dripping water.
Quietus Quay is not a large town, but it is fairly heavily traveled due
to the wide variety of goods that come through it. The winding path bends
to the north and east as it winds past several large stalagmites.

A Nameless Path
The edge of the cavern closes in to the south and east while the path
itself winds back through the village to the north and west. A small pool
of water has formed along the eastern wall of the cavern, fed by water
that drips in from above. The air is a bit humid here and smells slightly
of bat guano.

The dark walls of the cavern loom to the east while buildings of
various sizes can be seen throughout the cavern as it stretches to the
north, south and west. A large stalagmite blocks the way west while the
path continues to the north and south.

Before a Quiet Tavern
An open doorway to the west leads into a large stone building. There
is clearly a tavern within where people are talking, drinking, and even
dancing, yet not one single sounds comes out of the tavern itself. The
cavern walls are just to the east and the path continues to the north and
south.

small wooden home is to the west. The stench of bat guano hangs heavily
in the humid air despite the fact that there are no droppings in evidence
here. A narrow path continues to the north and south winding through
Quietus Quay.

Quietus Quay. Moisture hangs in the air, along with the stench of bat
guano, and sounds of all types echo through the cavern. A small stone
building stands to the north, somehow looking both non-descript and
important at the same time.

A Nameless Path
This winding path travels through most of Quietus Quay past the
quarters of the laborers and some of the small homes that a few of the
merchants and pirates keep here. There are also buildings that house the
warriors and guards of the Darvanu mercenaries who now control the town
and its docks. The path continues to the east and west.

Sounds of dripping water and echoing, distorted voices filter their way
through the cavern. A number of small dwellings dot this region of the
cavern with this narrow, nameless path winding its way through all of
them. A long, narrow building stands to the south and the ruins of a
stone building lie to the north. The path continues to the east and west.

Rough rocks and other rubble have been dumped to the north creating an
impassable barrier. A large, elegant home made of heavy black palm stands
to the south, a testament to some merchant's wealth. The home, like most
in this cavern, has no windows but it does have a very sturdy wooden door.
The path continues to the east and west winding past buildings and
stalagmites as it makes its way through the cavern.

Bending from south to east here the path winds around a large home made
of black palm to the southeast and past a massive stalagmite to the west.
Sounds from as far away as the docks themselves echo through the cavern,
but the sounds are muted and distorted, subdued by their constant bouncing
off rough stone surfaces.
