In The Ice Forest
The ice forest is the only wooded area around here, and is nothing
more than a forest that gets frozen over during the winter, so that
the trees are at a point where they are encased in solid ice through
the winter and into the summer, where they finally have a few months
to drop seeds and continue the forest growth. Many animals hibernate
for this time, although some don't, and then come out during the warm
months to store up food.
