Temple Entrance
   Giant marble steps lead downward into the entrance of this once sacred
temple. Having been barricaded off for so long, the steps are no longer clean
and sparkling as they once were, but are now covered in dust and debris from
the years of neglect this entranceway has seen. Another large door can be
downward, while fresh open air lies to the east.

Entrance to an Ancient Temple
   The entrance to this ancient temple seems to have long since been forgotton,
as lots of debris and crumbled stone litter the floor. A huge set of double
doors in the north wall has been heavily barricaded, obviously to deter anyone
foolish enough to have come this far from going any further. A seal of some
sort can be seen embedded in the door, and a large sign attracts the attention
of anyone entering this room.

A Tight Passage
   This appears to be a small tunnel built down the center of the temple. The
rough stone walls appear to be in good shape, holding up well over the years.
Through the pitch black darkness, the form of a trapdoor can barely be
discerned in the ceiling above, and the room seems to open up a bit to the
south.
This area seems to be exceptionally narrow!

A Cramped Room
   There is hardly room to breathe in this cramped tunnel filled with darkness.
The cold stone walls press against your back as you try to find some room to
move. The north looks a little more open, yet the smell of death is stronger
still from there.

A Tiny Room
   This tunnel seems to dig even deeper down into the ancient temple. And as
it goes lower, it seems the rooms get smaller and smaller. There is almost a
claustrophobic feeling as you try and cramp into this tiny passage. The only
illumination in this room comes from the hallway seen to the east.

A Hidden Passage
   An overwhelming magical aura can be felt from all around this level of the
temple, yet silence still seems to fill the air. Confusion takes over as you
look around and see what seems to be the impossible. To the north, snow
actually seems to be falling, even this far down into the ground. Waist deep
water lies to the west, although oddly enough, none flows into this room.
Blinding light prevents any sight southward, while the heat from the flames
to the east makes your skin blister even from here. The only sane exit seems
to be back up from whence you came.

   Flames stretch from the floor to the ceiling, from wall to wall, as the
whole room is filled with fire. The intense heat wilts your flesh and chars
your skin as you walk through the blazing inferno. Old skeletons have been
incinerated, turning bone to dust, which covers most of the bright red floor.

A Smooth Corridor of Stone
   Unlike the rest of the temple above this level, the cold stone walls here
are very smooth, and carved out with impressive precision. Measuring nine feet
high, and four feet wide, the hallway here looks almost as if it were actually
built with, rather than carved out of, the stone underground. The hallway walls
are also devoid of any paintings or sketches, which is very uncharacteristic
of the rest of the temple. The smooth hall extends eastward and westward.

light allows to be seen is not by any means beautiful itself. Piles of bones

any attack, and taken totally by surprise when the undead overwhelmed them.

A Hall of Gold
   Torches are not seen, nor are they needed to illuminate this extensive
hallway. The soft glow from the sheen of the gold from which this beautiful
corridor was crafted emits more than enough light to see by. However, what the
light allows to be seen is not by any means beautiful itself. Piles of bones

Entrance to the Kings Chambers
   A beautiful red carpet lines the floor of this grand room, leading south
into the foyer. Huge pots line the lush carpet, once filled with beautiful
trees and shrubbery, now containing nothing but dry dirt. A large symbol of a
deadly jaguar hangs on either wall here, most likely the shield of the ruling
family. A set of solid wooden double doors leads back into the hallway, while
the red carpet leads further into the Kings chambers.

An Elegant Foyer
   A long, rectangular table fashioned of pure silver rests in the middle of
this splendid room, which served as a meeting place for any royalty in the
region. Portraits of former kings and queens line the walls of the foyer, the
last of which hang over a large marble fireplace built into the southwest
corner. The fireplace mantle is lined with small, antique vases, which have
remarkably remained unbroken after all these years. The crimson carpet stems
out in all directions from here, with large thrones visable both to the east
and west.
