Foyer of the Shimmering Sai
Built in the first and second floors of the residential complexes is a
number of facilities for those touring the Jade Empire, such as a tavern,
a restaurant, and a very affordable and comfortable inn. The foyer of these
establishments is decorated in the traditional eastern designed, including
pillows and a very low table placed on the floor. The local residents
usually remove their shoes before entering buildings like this as a sign
of respect and cleanliness, though those visiting generally are oblivious
to this. A short staircase leads up to the reception of the inn, while
the restaurant and tavern are west and south, respectively.

The Tigerlily Tavern
It is easily apparent that the tavern here has been decorated to cater
to foriegners to Jade, those staying at the inn, and not to the locals.
The artwork has a distinct western flavor to it, the drinks are marked
up considerably in price, and other than the barman, residents of the city
are nowhere to been seen, so its safe to assume they spend their off-hours
somewhere else. Needless to say, the tavern is still very comfortable and
offers a pristine envoiroment for winding down after a long day of travel.
