Edge of a Deep Ravine
This ravine has been formed by the River Cu'L Torik which roars unseen far
below. A rickity swinging bridge crossing the ravine can be seen to the north.
The bridge looks extremely unsound and the framework of stakes attaching the
bridge to the edge of the ravine is very old and half rotted. On this side of
the ravine, part of the ground where the bridge was originally attached has
been undermined and has almost completely washed away. Some attempts to repair
it seem to have been made, however, as a vine rope is tied to the framework
and leads back to the woods where the other end is tied to a tree.

Swinging Bridge over the River Cu'L Torik
Made of large twisted strands of vines and rotting wooden planks, the bridge
does not look like it would support too much weight. It is only wide enough
for one person to go across at one time. Even though the river is not visible
from the this far up the ravine, its constant roar drowns out all other
sounds. The slightest breeze sets the bridge swinging wildly, making crossing
it an act of pure faith.
This area seems to be exceptionally narrow!
