Sorcerers are spellcasters who have devoted their lives to the pursuit of great and powerful magic. The spells at their command are primarily offensive and are not granted through the worship of any deity, but are rather trained and memorized using the Sorcerer's intelligence.
Sorcerers are physically weak by most standards, and can be quite frail, requiring them to focus training on constitution. Their abilities at hand-to-hand combat leave much to be desired,and, in most cases, they leave the fighting arts to fighters. To make up for these handicaps, Sorcerers have created some of the deadliest spells in the world, many of which can kill with a single blow. Improved strength gives sorcerers a boost in spell damage as well.

==Equipment usage==
Sorcerers have their own classification of item restriction. This means they have the smallest range of weapons that they can wield and a very small range of armor to choose from. They have almost no restrictions on what miscellaneous magical items they can use.

River Circle
As the narrow road bends from south to east it rises a bit higher above the
river. An open doorway to the west leads into a plain cottage built on stilts
over the river. A small pool to the north is fed by a waterfall to the
northwest. The pool then feeds the river that flows along the outer edge of
the plateau. Water laps against the rocks lining the edge of River Circle to
the north, a short five foot jump down. River Circle continues to the south
and east.

In a Wide Pool
Ground below the shallow pool is somehow both muddy and rocky at the same
time. A coating of mud lines the smaller stones but the gentle current is
just strong enough to wash the mud off of the larger rocks. A huge boulder
is to the east but the muddy slope to the south is just gradual enough that
it can be climbed without slipping. The pool extends to the north and west
and a muddy incline can be climbed to get to River Circle to the south.

In a Wide Pool
Slow moving eddies stir up some of the silt as the water swirls by the
huge boulder to the east helping obscure the bottom. The water is not deep
though, even halfling children can be seen wading throughout it, trying to
catch the frogs and salamanders that hide among the rushes. Water swirls by
as the pool continues to the west toward a large waterfall and south where
several cottages can be seen along the water.

In a Wide Pool
A thin layer of water coats the rough cliff face bordering the pool to the
north and thin reeds line the edges of the pool as it extends to the east
toward a huge boulder. Water sprays outward from the tremendous waterfall to
the east, showering everything with a fine mist. Reeds and rushes grow in
the shallow pool as it extends to the south, east and west.

Beneath a Large Waterfall
A wide shallow pool extends to the south and east away from the harsh
spray of the waterfall. Water droplets fall throughout the area due to the
many jagged rocks the waterfall tumbles over on its way down to the surface.
The water droplets make it difficult to make out many details of the
surrounding pool by refracting any light into thousands of tiny rainbows
making the mist even more difficult to see through.
