A Smooth Pathway
   The noise and bustle of the city can already be heard from here, the
great, massive gates lie just north, entering onto the great market. Tall
buildings and towers have been erected, visible even when the city gates
are closed - a rare occasion, as all are welcome in this merchant city.
Far ahead, the great towers of the palace can be seen, its tall towers
extending towards the sky.  The gates are north, while the path away from
the city continue south.

when the massive, iron gates are closed.  Tall buildings and towers are
visible over the stone walls and the smell of freshly baked bread and
fresh fruits wafts through here.  Far ahead the great palace of the King
are visible, its tall towers extending towards the sky.  Despite the
greatness of this city, an unsual, uneasy feeling can be felt here, as if
something has been lost here.  The massive gates lead into the main market
of Torrhan, while a smooth stone path leads away from the city.

up by huge paintings of the ocean, so large they almost appear

their rooms.  A hallway leads to the rooms east, while the street
lies back west.

   Shelves upon shelves of various objects fill this room, shiny objects
stacked upon each one.  Brass, silver, even gold antiques, spoons, cups,
clocks, statues, and other little ornaments can be found here.  It creates
an almost blinding effect with the lighting of the room, especially when
the sun shines through the windows and reflects off their surfaces.  A
small wooden door to the west leads back onto the street.

   Two huge, iron gates enclose the palace within its walls, creaking in
their age but still extremely strong and sturdy.  The palace stands before
you, its immense towers reaching towards the sky in their gleaming beauty.
The outer layer of the palace is made of a thick, light gray stone.  Only
a few windows can be seen on the lower levels, but higher above huge, wide
windows and balconies are visible.  Although the King and Queen often hold
balls and banquets, even for the lowly commoners and peasants to attend,
the palace is kept tightly locked up with guards protecting it on all sides.
