The Diamond mine shaft
This is the main artery leading down to the caverns where the diamonds are
excavated. Its obvious that dwarven heritage has played its part in creating
these tunnels, as they are almost perfect. Only a dwarf would have the skill
to create tunnels such as these. This main pathway leads east and down, deeper
into the depths of the mines. Small lanterns have been hung from the rafters
so that those who aren't graced with ultravision or infravision can still be
of use here.

Entrance to the Diamond Mines
This natural mine is likely the reason for establishing this village, and
also the reason for such a strong defensive wall. Diamonds were discovered
in this cave many years ago, and soon after the village was built around it.
For as long as anyone can remember, the oasis villagers have dug into the mine
to find the diamonds which are used for bartering with neighboring continents
and even for such items as spears used for hunting fish and wild animals on
the nearby islands.

On the Residential Path
This smaller path leads to many of the villagers homes. Like the other
supplemental paths, this one circles around the center giving a more uniform
feel than most cities offer. In this village, almost everyone is treated
as equals. There is no elitism here, and there is no need for capitalist
ideas in such a small outcropping. The houses which are found along this path
are all quite similar in design and size.

South End of the Aqueduct
The aqueduct of Storm Port serves a very important role in the well
being of the city. Having all too much of salt water and too little
of pure water, a reservoir at the southern end of the town was created
by digging deep into the earth away from the sea. Once the reservoir
was established and stable, the aqueduct was built to carry the water
over the eastern side of the city, with small stone branches leading
out to western end to provide fresh water to the numerous homes and
shops. The only walkable area of the aqueduct runs north to the
Pillar of Elements and south to the reservoir.

down and to the west, ultimately to an orcish home or business, to
provide fresh water. Understandably, Duergar foreman are the most
common sights along the top of the aqueduct proving that the orcs did
not construct this fairly modern structure without help.

Gale Road runs north to south on the west end of Storm Port,
almost directly below the aqueduct. The packed earth road is quite
moist, both from spill from above and the proximity to the harbour.
The orcs do not seem to mind, though, and have become quite used
to almost mud-like terrain.

Tempest Avenue and Gale Road Intersection
Gale Road connects with Tempest Avenue here, one block away
from the harbour. As the city grew, this intersection became
increasingly more important. When the harbour became open to the
public, merchants began to flock off the incoming ships and setting
up shop along Tempest Avenue, possibly making it the most second
most used intersection in the city.

Gale Road
Gale Road connects with the harbour here, making it one of the
oldest and most used pathways in the city. The sheer ammount of traffic
coming through this road then heading north or south into the city from
boarding or disembarking passengers is amazing. The harbour, once only
used for orc military personnel, now is abundant with many of the more
evil races of all classes and skills.

East End of North Storm Street and Gale Road
North Storm Street was one of the last few roads to be constructed
in the city. After the popularity of the harbour, the rocky terrain
had to be excavated to make room for the population explosion in the
northern sector. With the aqueduct above running south, the road
in this corner of the city is somewhat muddy, and the smell of sea
salt is still quite strong. The mystical Pillar of Elements can
be seen rising above the city close by the north. The street continues
west of here.

Squall Road and Gale Road Intersection
In the early days, Storm Port consisted solely of the harbour,
several small supply shops, and naval barracks connected by two
roads. Squall Road was one of those two. The second, Gale Road
begins north to south here. Between these two roads a path was a
cut through rocky terrain to the flat area of the harbour. To this
day Gale and Squall Roads are still the most used streets in the city.

Squall Road
In the early days, Storm Port consisted solely of the harbour,

roads. Squall Road was one of those two. Now into the years
of modernization, the orcs have become powerful rivals with
humans in the ways of technology, population, and military. This
city has become a symbol of true orc ingenuity and the ability to
accomplish just as much as any of the self-proclaimed civilized races.

several small supply shops, and naval barracks connected by two
roads. Squall Road was one of those two. North of here is a
small alley that connects up with another major street in the city,
Tempest Avenue. The busy Storm Port bank sits to the west, and south
leads to the southern gates. The traffic here is amazing as orcs
bustle about, heading for the harbour, elsewhere in the city, or
outside town.
