The Crossroads of the Diamond Mine.
This is the main artery leading down to the caverns where the diamonds are
excavated. Its obvious that dwarven heritage has played its part in creating
these tunnels, as they are almost perfect. Only a dwarf would have the skill
to create tunnels such as these. This main pathway leads east and down, deeper
into the depths of the mines. Small lanterns have been hung from the rafters
so that those who aren't graced with ultravision or infravision can still be
of use here. From this room, smaller shafts lead out to the north, east, and
south.

mine. Although there are still some diamonds to be found here, a majority of
the diamonds are being found lower down in the mines. A few of the miners are
still at work here, in the upper caverns, but they fear to go deeper into the
mine because of the recent disappearances.
