Entrance to the Orog Encampment
On this side of the abysmal crevice lies a hidden encampment that is home to
a mighty tribe of Orogs. This cavern has been excavated over the decades and
has grown into quite a large village. The ceiling looks to be a few hundred
feet above, and supplies more than enough room for the few buildings that peek
out above the high wall. To the south, a large chasm splits the chamber floor
in twain, plunging downwards into an inky darkness below. A wooden suspension
bridge hangs in the air above the crack.

Upon a Large Wooden Bridge
A vast chasm of pure darkness opens up wide beneath the swinging wood and
hemp rope bridge that crosses the chasm here. Each of the boards of the
bridge has been looped over and through to keep the bridge taut and sturdy.
Twin support ropes are suspended from either end of the bridge, making two sets
of ropes for either side. The bracing ropes that run from the wooden deck to
the rope support lines are knotted about the support rope, but travel beneath
the edge of the deck board and back up again. The bridge is anchored by sets
of pillars wrapped with the rope that have been securely driven into the rock
of the cavern.

driven down at opposing angles to each other. Each post has been wrapped
numerous times by the hemp rope that holds the bridge together and aloft.
