   These smell from this stable is enough to make a person vomit.
A large pile of manure sits dangerously close to your left. Luckily,
the stablekeepers are smart enough to keep the animal feed in piles
to your right. The building is very long, running a few hundred feet
to the back wall. A stage sits at the center of the room, allowing
merchants to bring and showcase their mounts for potential customers.

jockey's whip hanging from his belt.

the room, with a large ventilation duct running from the back to the front
of the building. Apprently Rosenthal discovered that by sending the bakery
smells into the busy streets of Merchant's Way, he could attract a lot more
business.

   This shop specializes in the trade of supplies that would make any
true magic-user happy. Hundreds of scrolls line the walls and are neatly
arranged in alphabetical order based on their desired effect. Books of
knowledge form small piles on the countertops, and a variety of wands
and trinkets lie inside a display case. The room doesn't have any windows
or torches to keep the room illuminated. Instead, the walls, ceiling and
even the floors of the room seem to glow a pale white, providing just
enough light so customers can see.

Tavern of the Bearded Lady
   This seems to be a popular retreat for the restless and unemployed.
The room itself is basically one long bar that follows the wall. There are
roughly a dozen tables, surrounded by simple wooden planks serving as seats.
The floor is dirty and sticky from the gallons of ale that are spilled and
dry each night. The smell is putridly sweet, like that of rotting fruit. One
might be able to find a few willing parnters in an expedition here, for a
price of course.
