A Fork in the Streams
   The stream flows in from the northeastern part of the forest, forking both
toward the southwest and slightly toward the northwestern part of the forest.
The mist  seems to be pretty thick in this area.  Small pebbles line the bank
of the stream which appears to have a sandy bottom.  The waters are clear and
almost translucent.  The area around the stream is calm and peaceful. Nothing
else in the world seems to matter here as the peace fills the area.  Splashes
from the salmon and other aquatic creatures seem to come from all around. The
path traveled upon is smooth and seems to have been well made at one time.

Forked of Path of the Stream
    The stream flows in from the northwest in a steady and fast pace.  At times
the sound of water crashing into rocks is louder here.  A gentle wind brings in
a light mist that soaks the area.  The rocks have a light mossy coating, making
it hard at times to get a good, firm footing while traveling along the edges of
the stream.  The waterborne life does not seem to be as apparent here as it was
further down the stream.   The waters are a bit darker then they were, yet they
are still pretty clear, and the bottom of the stream can be easily seen.  Birds
and other woodland creatures around make noises and chirps as one travels along
the edge of the stream through the forest.

Before a Flowing Waterfall
     The water flows at an unhampered pace down the side of a hill here. There
are many smaller, stair-stepped waterfalls, but the main drop-off waterfall is
higher then most of the trees lining the stream. The mist is thick, making the
air feel very heavy.  The wind blows the falling water to the east, looking as
though a blanket of water was settling slowly to the ground.  Despite theheavy
feel to the air, it feels very nice in the heat of the sun.   All the cares of
the world wash away as the mist gently sprays your face.  The path ahead seems
to lead the to waterfall then disappear behind the rush of water.  The path is
worn and has eroded over time.  It is starting to show its age here where most
of the stonework had been very intricate but has worn away.

Further around the side of the Pond
      Rounding the edge of the pond and coming toward where the stream enters
the pond, there is the slight splashing sound of fish trying to swim upstream
as they jump out of the water as they make their way slowly upstream.   These
waters appear to be teeming with fish and other aquatic wildlife that thrives
in the pure, blessed stream flowing through this part of the forest. The mist
seems to be a bit more pervasive,soaking everything around.   The ground is a
bit more muddy and a few tracks of animals are more apparent.

Rounding the Crystal Clear Pond
     Traveling further around the pond to the northern side, the waters of the
pond sparkle and shimmer in the light.   The abundant wildlife nearby seems to
be teeming with many creatures, some of which one would never believe existed.
Many brightly colored furred animals swing from tree to tree, while others run
along side the waters as if there was no threat of attack. The wind here blows
slightly out of the north, bringing with it a cool, gentle mist that leaves an
invigorating feeling to all it touches.

A Small Crystal Clear Pond
     Following the edge of the stream you come to a small pond with crystal
clear, almost reflective, water.   There are a few statues near the water's
edge.  As you get closer they are seen to be statues to the elven gods, one
of which depicts Solonor Thelandria, the elven god of the hunt.  Solonor is
rumored to be the best shot with a bow in the multiverse.  Though he may be
the elvish god of hunters, he is also the god of nature and is charged with
keeping the delicate balance between civilization and anarchy, instinct and
knowledge, savagery and domesticity.  Thus, he is not just a mindless brute
like so many hunters.  He stalks his prey mainly out of concern for overall
balance.  The tallest statue that looms above the rest is the one depicting
Corellon Larethian the Protector, leader of the elvish pantheon who is said
to have given birth to the elvish race.

A Tranquil Forest
   Sounds come from all around you as you enter deeper into the forest.  Above
you there is a bit of rustling in the trees and around you the whole forest is
alive with sound, making it seem to be teeming with life.  Off to your left is
a group of deer approaching a stream.   About the same time you seem them they
look up and then dart off into the distance.   To your right, you see a mother
robin with her young waiting in a nest on a low branch as she swoops down with
the worm she has found nearby to feed them.  There is a path that leads to the
west and east.   Though the part that leads up the side of the hill looks like
it is still paved somewhat the path still looks as though it are just wildlife
paths through the forest.

not help but think that you are being watched.  Though you glance back often,
there is never anything there.   In the distance there are shrieks that sound
like monkeys "ooohinggg!!" and "Ahhing!" at each other in some sort of primal
gibberish.

     The trees here are strong and stout.  They have stood they test of time,
and have been growing untouched by hands for hundreds, possibly thousands, of
years.  Vines and other plants climb up the sides of the few dead trees. They
seem to reach for the sky above, creating a blanket effect in the forest that
makes the area not very well lit.   Though getting through the trees does not
look like it will be very hard to do, as you look over your shoulder, you can

A Tranquil Forest
   Sounds come from all around you as you enter deeper into the forest.  Above
you there is a bit of rustling in the trees and around you the whole forest is
alive with sound, making it seem to be teeming with life.  Off to your left is
a group of deer approaching a stream.   About the same time you seem them they
look up and then dart off into the distance.   To your right, you see a mother
robin with her young waiting in a nest on a low branch as she swoops down with
the worm she has found nearby to feed them.  There is a path that leads to the
west and east.   Though the part that leads up the side of the hill looks like
it is still paved somewhat the path still looks as though it are just wildlife
paths through the forest.

A Tranquil Forest
    Sounds come from all around as you enter deeper into the forest.  Above you
there is a bit of rustling in the trees and the whole forest seems to teem with
life.  The pathway that leads northward, heading up the side of the hill, seems
to be still paved somewhat.   Other ways to go look like they are just wildlife
paths through the forest.  Ancient runes from an age gone past adorn the paths.
The woods around are full of life and movement.  Birds and bugs fly through the
trees, and other woodland creatures gathering food for their families scurry on
the sides of the path through the trees and bushes. Many sounds are heard along
the walk through the woods.  Birds chirping, calls of the wilds, and many other
woodland sounds come from all around as you travel further down the path.

Base of the Hills
    Though there are trees scattered around the base of the hill and along the
pathway up, they seem sparse toward the top.   Once clear of the forest trees,
an ancient keep  whose walls have fallen to rubble after many ages can be seen
on the apex of the next hill.   The wind has picked up quite a bit as a strong
gale blows through.  As it turns the dirt into a cloud of dust that it carries
away, the pathway becomes uncovered, and the intricate runes of long past that
adorn the path are revealed to be elven glyph's of warding.

gate to the garrison to the left.  The walls were not as strong as they needed
to be, though parts of it still stand together somewhat.

Inside an Abandoned Garrison
     As you look around the inside of the garrison, you notice an old weapons
rack that once held the garrison's stores.  Upon closer examination, it seems
that maybe with the help of a good blacksmith a blade or two might be able to
be salvaged.  Even those that can be salvaged would take quite a long time of
sharpening and polishing them to get them back in working order.

   Coming closer to the gates of the keep's inner sanctum, you wonder how long
it has been since anyone has traveled within these hallowed walls. There seems
to be some grass from place to place that has been trodden down, yet you can't
help but wonder if it was humanoid or animals, as it appears that not much was
disturbed. The door to the sanctum seems secure.  As you draw closer you start
to think that it seems almost in perfect condition.

    Drawing closer into this part of the keep, there are cobwebs everywhere in
the room, except to the west where it leads down a small hallway.  There is an
eerie light  given off by the candelabras that adorn the halls and passageways
hinting at their magical nature.  Tapestries and artwork still line the walls,
unchanged from the day they were placed there, except for the cobwebs.  On the
left of the door there is a small wooden cabinet with intricate designs carved
on it.   There seems to be a solid wall of cobwebs to the east that completely
closes the exit.

    The walls and floors of this room appear well kept and there seems to not

An old run down Kitchen
      Walking into this room, the first thing that catches the eys is that the
fireplace that once was used to cook meals ages ago is lit and burning strong.
Off in one corner there are what looks like pieces of chairs broken and thrown
into a heap of kindling.  A small makeshift bed with an old wornout bedroll is
in the northwestern corner of the room.  The smell of something very delicious
is coming from the oven. Closer inspection reveals a haunch of venison turning
on a spit over the open fire.  There is some gear placed near the door, though
it is aged and worn and seems as though it will not hold up to a real fight.
