the hot meals served in the inn.  Pots can be seen simmering away
with the soup of the day, and the smell of fresh baked bread still
lingers in the air.  Above the stove is a small spice rack, with
jars stocked with the cooks spice secrets.  A cupboard rests above
the preparations table, containing all the crockery needed for the
meals.  A thick oaken door leads to the storeroom, and helps to
keep the temperature down so that the food can last its longest
and freshest.

promote some fungal growth that seems to thrive in this dark and damp
cavern.

   A large serving bar covers the entrance to the kitchen of the
inn, with room behind to accomodate the inn keeper as he prepares
drinks for the patrons.  The bar top is a finely polished timber,
and is kept spotless in it appearance.  A rack of clay mugs is
mounted on the wall behind the bar, and below the rack the barrels
of ale and cider are stored.  A small pole at the end of the bar
stores some clean cloths used to clean the tables after their use.

   The primary feature of this room is a large hearth in which a
fire burns, not only providing warmth but enough light to see by.
The tables and chairs have been positioned as such, so that each
patron can feel the warmth of the fire, and enjoy the common rooms
decoration.  Above the fire two swords are crossed, a reminder to
the innkeep of his adventuring days.  Trophies line the walls, the
most notable being that of a stag with a set of magnificant antlers.
A book of guests is found on a stand by the door, and in it recorded
the names of patrons and their accomplishments.

Kept extremely clean, the well looked after after inn is reknown
in local circles for its good meals and good drink.

Chiltern Way
   Chiltern way is the main thoroughfare for Cheltenham Village.
Lining its sides are the simple two story housing structures of
the villagers.  The way is mainly a compact dirt, and signs of
cart trails are clearly visable.  The way is kept clean and free
of litter, and in some places small piles of stones have been
erected to keep water flow from the ruts formed by carts.

Family Room of a Small Village House
   These dark and dusty tunnels very existence seems to have
been forgotten.  The tunnels being crafted in to the mountain
itself.  The walls and the ceilings are showing signs of
disrepair, in that the very surface seems to crumble at the
touch.  There are small tracks that wind through the dusty
floor, obviously made by the animals that now call the tunnels
home.

family, and is used for nothing else.
