This great mithril landing sits between four massive pillars. A glorious staircase
leads back up to the Seniors Hallway in the upper level of the Citadel, while a landing
to an even deeper sets of stairs falls to the south, and a narrow corridor extends east
and west. This deep junction is blocked off with doors in each direction, to the south
a single plaque is posted.

This wide set of steps grows wider and wider as it leads into a huge landing of pure
mithril below here. This set of steps reaches down from the hallway just north of
here, marked architecturally with a stone arch set within the mithril hall and twin
torches sconced on either side of the stair entrance. The steps themselves are bare, but
surprisingly glossy.

This mithril hall is identical to the perimeter hall of Shanat
Citadel except for one detail, the drapery. Lustrous white curtains
are hung evenly-spaced throughout either side of this hallway, decorating
it with a silky, white, flowing presence. While the only other tapestries
experienced in this entire city have been standard wall-hangings depicting
images of dwarven lore, these white silky sheets exist much more freely.
