The Jade Harbour
This is the famed Jade harbour, a location where sailing ships from all
over the known world come to port. Usually, most ships pass through here
quickly, only to re-supply and head on their way, their crew and their
passengers never getting much time to spend in the Empire's capital city.
The long central dock extends far out into the ocean, with several smaller
piers used for most of the mooring ships. Deckhands and dock workers work
around the clock here, loading and unloading rare cargo that flows through
this port like sand through an hourglass.

The Blooming Lotus Intersection
This is one of the busiest intersections within the capital. As the Jade
river divides the city into eastern and western halves, the Blooming Lotus
connects them, with the south bridge just to west. Crop runners frequent
this route, hauling bags of rice bound for the grinding wheel to the south,
and loads of cargo that aren't ferried by longboats down the river are
transported by here on the way in or out of the city. The shady Storm Port
district lies to the east, where the rickety watchtower can be seen high
above the rooftops of the nearby guildhouses. Fragrant smells of flowers
and the musical sound of the slowly flowing river bring a sense of peace

The Storm Port District Gates
This is the border between the capital of Jade and area controlled by
the Storm Port authority. Jade rents out the space to the orcs under quite
a few strict conditions, one of which being no fighting anywhere within
the city limits. Storm Port is only to happy to meet any of the Empire's
conditions, as it means they have control of a sizable outpost in the far
east, as well as constant access to one of the largest harbours in the
entire world. Though the orcs are allowed free travel around the city,
most never leave their outpost other than to travel to the docks, and the
citizens and officials of Jade never venture into the Storm Port authority
either, due mostly because they find it in rather a perpetual state of
squalor and filth.

The Storm Port District
As one enters the area controlled by the Storm Port Authority there
is a drastic difference in the quality of life. Though Jade has a set
standard imposed upon the orcs here which they seem to push to the limit.
Truthfully, this outpost is probably the tidiest of all of Storm Port's
terrorities, though is still a massive contrast to the sheer beauty of
city just across the bridge to the west. From here one can see the orc
watchtower to the east, as well has many warehouses and barracks set up
along the northeastern area of the outpost. The gate out is just west.

The district pathway leads northeast here, around the central watch
tower and a spattering of hastily constructed buildings the orcs use
storage, blacksmithing, bunks, and everything else an outpost of this
size needs to survive self-sufficiently. Locals of Jade never venture
to the district, as they find it horribly unclean, and the orcs rarely
set foot within the large city to the west, so the outpost here needs
to be able to fend for itself.

The Storm Port District
The easterners have been infamous for acts of piracy on the open seas
for many years, though here in Jade that seems to be nothing more than
a nasty rumor. However, if the rumors were to be true, it would explain
why the orcs of Storm Port feel comfortable with an outpost built within
the bounderies of the capital city. The Empire is massive, and even though
this city seems peaceful and serene, ruthless pirates could easily be
operating out of other close-by locations. This road borders the ocean,
running east to west along the rocky coastline. The harbour can be seen

The harbour can be seen
just off to the northwest, though there is no access to it from here.
Obvious exits: -East -West

their martial arts in, taught by only the very best, perhaps another reason
that the orcs have decided to construct an outpost here, far in the eastern

This is a fairly basic structure, built from the orcs nearly never-
ending supply of excess, scrap, timber. It is bare of furniture, and
the only fixtures are some lanterns hanging from the walls, lighting
the room dimly. Swords and some eastern weapons are piled up against

The Meditation Room
This room has been built with about as much serenity and peacefulness
that any orc could possibly have mustered. Very few classes of orcs need
a room devoid of weapons of war, crude and lude drawings, and heaps of
rubbish, except for those who take the martial arts extremely seriously
in hopes of attaining pure perfection in those skills. It just so happens
that one of those very few special orcs makes this dojo his home, living
and practicing here nearly every hour of the day.

Jade, being a city of true neutrality, has no issues with the local
population of orcs, direct from Storm Port. Many of their monks come here
to train in this far off land to the east, and though mostly welcome in
the city itself, tend to stick to themselves in their own claimed terrority.
Though it is common to hear of skirmishes between the many visiting human
pilgrams, they are usually brief and dealt with harshly on both sides by
the Jade Empire.
