The shallow pool flows into a slow moving river that departs to the south.
Both the river and the pool are shallow enough to be lined with reeds and
rushes which give home to a variety of frogs, fish, birds, and insects.
Immediately to the south a small cottage rests on tall stilts above the
river. A number of small fish swim in every direction, looking for a quick
meal and trying to avoid becoming a meal themselves. The wide pool extends
to the north, east, and west and a wide river ambles south.

Ground below the shallow pool is somehow both muddy and rocky at the same
time. A coating of mud lines the smaller stones but the gentle current is
just strong enough to wash the mud off of the larger rocks. A huge boulder
is to the east but the muddy slope to the south is just gradual enough that
it can be climbed without slipping. The pool extends to the north and west
and a muddy incline can be climbed to get to River Circle to the south.

As the narrow road bends from south to east it rises a bit higher above the
river. An open doorway to the west leads into a plain cottage built on stilts
over the river. A small pool to the north is fed by a waterfall to the
northwest. The pool then feeds the river that flows along the outer edge of
the plateau. Water laps against the rocks lining the edge of River Circle to
the north, a short five foot jump down. River Circle continues to the south
and east.

Beautiful flowers line the road here before the huge building to the north
that houses the meetings of the Woodseer High Council to the north and chief
councilor Eruffu's home to the south. The meeting hall to the north is a truly
immense building by halfling standards, most meeting rooms of such size are
made in large burrows to save on time and money. Petalrich Lane ends at a
four-way intersection to the west and continues west toward the Woodseer gates.
The door to a large home is to the south and an open doorway leads into the
Woodseer High Council meeting hall.
